Greystones House B&B has an elegant, spacious and comfortable room overlooking the garden in our friendly family home. You have your own ensuite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Close to the Bath & West Showground & trendy Bruton too. The bedroom is a lovely light and spacious room with double aspect widows overlooking the garden. There is a 6 foot bed which can be turned into twin beds if you wish and arm chairs, a desk and TV, books and magazines. And of course the usual courtesy tray of tea and coffee and fresh milk. Guests may use the sitting room downstairs which has an open fire, comfortable chairs and a TV. A full English breakfast is provided in the dining room with cereals, yoghurt and fruit, tea or coffee and toast. We can recommend places to eat and things to do in the area if you wish. Nearby Castle Cary is a lovely, thriving historic market town and has become a place for discerning shoppers seeking unusual, high quality goods. There are galleries too and plenty of access to good restaurants locally and surrounding village pubs. The world-renowned Hauser & Wirth Gallery with its wonderful restaurant - the Roth Bar & Grill is a 15-minute drive away. There are many beautiful villages, towns and cities close by. Visit Wells, the smallest cathedral city in England, Sherborne with its beautiful Abbey and Glastonbury famed for its legends of King Arthur; or climb the Tor. If you like looking around gardens we are well placed for visits to many nationally renowned gardens and National Trust properties such as Stourhead, Lytes Cary, Tintinhull, Montacute and Barrington Court. And of course the newly opened The Newt in Somerset - a country estate with magnificent woodland and gardens. Only 10 minutes from the A303 and 5 minutes from Castle Cary station. We can pick you up from the station and recommend reliable taxis. We have off road parking. If you come by train we can pick you up from Castle Cary station but you will need a car to explore the area.
