Region: he North York Moors National Park covers 554 square miles, with landscape ranging from heather-clad moorland and deep secluded dales, to the cliffs and coves of the magnificent coastline making it a haven for walkers. Town: The seaside town of Whitby lies in North Yorkshire, on the East cliff, overlooking the North Sea. It is a charming location, filled with independent shops, cafes and restaurants. You will also find Whitby Abbey, which is said to have given Bram Stoker inspiration for Dracula. There is also a sandy beach with a charming pier, where you can eat your fish and chips or play in the arcades.
