The flat - a studio flat - is located in an ancient building that has been restored recently. It is very quiet and it overlooks the ancient city walls. It is near the Leaning Tower and the Square of Miracles, in a limited traffic zone. The studio flat is located on the first floor of a luxury building with no lift and it has been restored recently. It is 50 metres from Cathedral Square, in the limited traffic zone. It overlooks the old city walls and you can see them thanks to a large 4-metre high window, which makes the studio flat very bright and cosy. It has the possibility to accommodate 3 people and you can also add a little bed for children, on request. The studio flat consists of an open space with a large kitchen, an ante-bathroom, a large bathroom with shower and a loft with a queen size bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with a table for lunch, an oven, a microwave, a stove, and a TV. The flat is equipped with mosquito nets (useful in summer), Wi-Fi, washing machine, air conditioning, hairdryer, bed linen and towels. At just 5-minute walk, there is the possibility to park your car either in a free parking or in a pay and display parking (0.60 € per hour) from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.; the parking is free for the rest of the day. We have a secure garage, inside the building, where you can park bicycles and motorcycles. The flat is completely private and for the exclusive guests’ use. The owners will be there on guests’ arrival to help them with the accommodation and the use of the flat. They will also be available to provide useful information about Pisa and its surroundings, with the possibility to rent bicycles on site. The neighbourhood of Santa Maria is one of the oldest in Pisa. Close to it, there is the Museum of Sinopie, the Garden and Botanical Museum, the Museum of the Calculation Tools, and the Museum of the Works of the Cathedral. On foot, you can reach the “Scuola Normale Superiore”, the “Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna” and the university faculties. You can immerse yourself in the silence and beauty of the Natural Park of San Rossore, which is about 15 minutes from the accommodation and can be reached by both bike and car. The sea is just a few kilometres far from the flat: you can visit the Port of Marina di Pisa, the coast of Versilia (Viareggio, Forte dei Marmi, Marina di Pietrasanta) or of Leghorn (Castiglioncello, Quercianella ...). They can be easily reached by both bus and train. In the neighbourhood, there are many restaurants with typical Tuscan food. From the flat, you can easily reach (by car public transports) the coastal areas: the rocky ones in Leghorn and the sandy ones in Forte dei Marmi. Do not forget to visit Pietrasanta, the little Athens of the culture.
