Beautiful, newly decorated terrace house and garden situated in Lofthouse, Wakefield with great access to the motorways and train station with only a 7 minute journey into Leeds. There is safe off-street parking. The guest room has been newly decorated and has an orthopaedic mattress. We provide WiFi, towels, bedding, soap and shampoo etc. A selection of teas, coffee, milk and sugar will be waiting for you in the kitchen on arrival. Smoke-free home. Newly decorated and furnished double room with storage. Free Wifi for all guests. There are several plug points in the room, and the radiator is connected to central heating (if the temperature isn't right for you, just let us know). All bedding is fresh for every stay, including bath/hand towels and ironing board/iron, etc. is also available on request. Guests are welcome to use our washing machine. The house has recently been renovated and decorated. The living room boasts an original brick fireplace with a wood burner installed. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen as they wish. We ask guests to be mindful of the oak worktops as they will mark with water. There are several mats available to use for making drinks and no need to wash up as we have a dishwasher which you can leave things in on departure and we will take care of the rest. The garden is a beautiful sun trap until around 3pm. There is a bistro set perfect for dinner in the garden. There are also loungers in the shed to use as you wish. We can allow 1 non-shedding dog at an extra charge. Please ask me about this before booking. We have partnered with local company 'oh my graze' who produces some delicious graze boxes that can be ordered to enjoy during your stay. Ask us for more details and a price list. We prefer guests to check in after 4 pm and check out by 10 am, but if your check-in/out times differ, please ask in advance, and we will accommodate where possible. Parking is directly in front of the house on our private road. Please do not park in front of neighbouring houses. There is an outhouse for any bicycle or pushchair storage you may need for your stay. Guests have access to the whole property apart from two rooms, which are private spaces. We will usually be available to assist with guests during the stay as we're only 5 minutes away. If you need any assistance or something doesn't meet your needs, we will try to put this right as best we can. Lofthouse is a village between the cities of Wakefield and Leeds in West Yorkshire, England . It is mentioned as Locthuse also Loftose in the 1086 Domesday Book. Lofthouse has good road connections to its nearby boroughs as well as to the rest of northern England. Lofthouse Gate and Outwood are neighbouring villages on the A61 towards Wakefield and are in the Wakefield Metropolitan Area. Towards Leeds there is the village of Robin Hood. Outwood train station is just a short walk (1 minute) away providing direct routes into Leeds and Wakefield within 7-10 minutes. In addition to this, it is located very close to the M1 & M62 motorways in and out of Leeds. Manchester, York & Sheffield are all within an hours drive, or 45 minutes on the train from Leeds station. The stunning Yorkshire Dales are also less than an hours drive away. This is our home too, so please treat it with respect. Accidents happen, but please let us know of any damages so that we can ensure it is put right for future guests.
