This 2 bed stone cottage has private parking and is spacious, light and airy. Conveniently arranged with just two steps to each floor. The sitting room has a wood burning stove, tv, dining table and french doors that lead onto the conservatory. Large twin room with bathroom ensuite, double room, shower room, living room and kitchen/diner. There are extensive rural views over fields and woodland. And a variety of farm and wildlife to observe. Conveniently arranged with just two steps to each floor. All our cottages are pet friendly. We believe our cottage is disability friendly, but we’re not 100% there yet. It is a bungalow and you can enter the kitchen without steps. There are 2 shallow steps into the living room from outside, 3 steps between the kitchen and living room and 1 step between the living rooms and bedrooms. We have had guests with wheelchairs stay before with their own ramps, and they throughly enjoyed their stays! Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or special requests you may have. You just bring towels, duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases. We now have great wi-fi! Private parking. Washing machine/dryer, fridge and freezer. Wood burning stove. Tv. Very private. Interaction as required. The family live on site in a separate detached house. We work on the farm and are about most days. The options are endless... Enjoy country walks and log fires and spectacular nightlife! Absorbing exhibitions at the Leeds Art Gallery, Royal Armouries Museum, Abbey House Museum and Leeds City Museum. Stimulating theatre at West Yorkshire Playhouse, The Grand Theatre, The Carriage Works or The City Varieties. For those interested in Stately Homes, Dunstarn is just 15 minutes from Harewood House or Temple Newsam, and York Gate Garden is just down the road. RHS Garden Harlow Car approx 20 mins away. Headingley Cricket Club, the home of Yorkshire CC and Leeds Rhinos is just down the road. Elland Road, home of Leeds United, 30 mins away. The spa town of Harrogate is 30 minutes and York 40 minutes. The Meanwood Valley Trail through our woods connects with the Dales Way. Fantastic walking, cycling and riding around Eccup reservoir and the Harewood estate, with some lovely country pubs along the way. 15 mins to Leeds First Direct Arena. Would you like to bring your HORSE on holiday? We have stables and grazing available for a maximum of two horses! Superb off road hacking in our own woods or box up 5 mins to enjoy the huge Harewood estate and pubs! Fantastic shopping and nightlife in Leeds city centre. Restaurants and bars - thousands of options in the centre. How about The Man Behind the Curtain or visiting the new John Lewis store next door to Leeds Kirkgate Market. Buses (no 28) from the bottom of the farm lane to the city centre. (10 mins walk) Multiple taxi firms including Uber. Entry is flat on either the kitchen or sitting room level. Both bath and showers have mobility handles for safety. There are 2 steps from kitchen to sitting room and 1 from sitting room to bedrooms.
