Farm-T-House, Cavinti! “Welcome to Farm-T-House!” Farm-T-House is a +/-3-hour drive from Metro Manila located in FarmShare Agri-Park, Cavinti, Laguna. Cavinti is fast rising to become “The Tourism Capital of Laguna.” Where else can you explore, experience and enjoy big mountain lakes, countless rivers and waterfalls, underground river and cave complex but only here in Cavinti. Yes, the formerly known Pagsanjan Falls is actually Cavinti Falls since it’s in Cavinti! Before reaching the historic town of Cavinti is a barangay road (before Petron Gas Station) that leads to the end where Farm-Share is located. It’s a seemingly one-way but two-way countryside narrow road. FarmShare is a community-engaged farm that sets itself as the center of the B.ackyard A.nimal R.aising T.echnique for community profitability and sustainability. The Farm welcomes you through its Agri-Park. Upon entering the Farm’s gate, a parking slot is allocated for each FARM-T-HOUSE Guest. The parking lot is just across the area where each T-HOUSE unit is perched on a sloping green hill with a very nice view. To start with, there are four Tiny House Glamping units by T-HOUSE available for booking at the Farm: the big CUBE-T-HOUSE, the wide, AIRY-T-HOUSE, the tall SLIM-T-HOUSE, and the long TUBE-T-HOUSE. Adjacent to the T-HOUSE units is the Farm Pavilion where Guests can hang-out, chill and dine. Beside it is the Guests Common Kitchen or Cooking Area. While at the back is the Toilet & Bath Facility, one each for the Ladies and the Gents. At the middle part of the T-HOUSE accommodations is the Bonfire Area. Upon Guests’ arrival, the ideal activity to do after a long drive usually from Metro Manila is to relax or even take an afternoon nap. Around sunset is the idyllic time to prepare for food to cook or BBQ to grill. Dinner can be enjoyed either at the common Dining Area which is the Farm Pavilion or at each one’s Private Deck at the back of each T-HOUSE Glamping accommodation. Enjoy a romantic view as you dine! After dinner is the best moment to enjoy Bonfire bonding. Yes, you can enjoy Bonfire with other Guests who are also booked together with you. Bring out those sausages and marshmallows for your s’mores! Music or sounds should be mellowed down around 9 in the evening while total lights off shall be at 11. Don’t forget to look up in the sky to enjoy stargazing before you doze-off at night to have a good night! Chances are, you’ll be awakened by the roosters’ crows early in the morning. Of course, you’re in a farm. There’s a greenfield to do morning stretching or exercise, yoga, walking, jogging or even running around. You can witness while cows are milked. The cool thing, you can enjoy various flavors of fresh cow’s milk! If you pre-ordered breakfast, staffs can serve it to you at your T-HOUSE and enjoy breakfast at the deck. Your good night rest and the healthy breakfast will give you the energy needed to enjoy the Farm Tour. In the farm, you’ll see horses in the ranch, donkeys in the field, cows in the stable, goats in their houses, as well as cute rabbits in their sheds. You can feed them or just enjoy watching them. After the tour, you can buy Farm products like cow’s milk in different flavors, frozen goat meat, and other tasty pasalubong. Each Guest basically enjoys the immediate premises of their booked T-HOUSE plus some shared amenities (camping / picnic grounds) and facilities (cooking / dining / toilet & bath). The founder and owner of T-HOUSE is visiting the farm from time to time. While the owners of the FarmShare Prime are in the farm, most of the time. The friendly personnel of the FarmShare Prime that you'll see around are ready and happy to assist you anytime. FARM-T-HOUSE, Duhat-Cavinti is located within the FarmShare Prime, which is a real operating known farm. The crime-free neighborhood is away from the busy-noisy cities and is generally peaceful and calm conducive for leisure farm relaxation and even for Work-From-Anywhere (WFA) productivity and creativity. Natural attractions and travel destinations surround the farm and only within a few minutes drive like the world-renowned Cavinti Falls (formerly Pagsanjan Falls), Hulugan Falls, Bumbungan Eco-Park, Pueblo El Salvador, Japanese Garden, Secret River, Cavinti Underground River and Cave Complex, Sierra and Caliraya Lake, among the many! GUIDE TO THE FARM CAMP SITE *Going to the Camp Site Options The easiest way is to find the FarmShare Prime at Waze or at (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps. We have 2 alternative ways if Waze or (Hidden by Airbnb) Maps won't be your option: 1. With Own Vehicle Option A - Laguna Loop, coming from the South via SLEX - Drive thru SLEX and take Sto. Tomas Exit (the Toll Exit right before Calamba). After a few kilometers, you will see the sign "By Pass to Bucal". Turn Left until you reach the Provincial Highway of Laguna between Calamba and Pansol. Then turn right. Drive straight and you will pass by the towns of Los Banos, Bay, Victoria, Pila, Sta. Cruz and then Pagsanjan. When you reach Pagsanjan, a T-junction in front of the Catholic Church will show you two (2) options: Turning left will lead you to Lumban, while turning right will lead you to Cavinti. The shorter route is to turn right. About 7-8 kilometers before reaching the poblacion of Cavinti, you will reach the Petron Gas Station. Across the right, you'll notice a road going up. At the very end of this barangay road, you will reach the gates of the FarmShare Prime where the FARM-T-HOUSE is situated. Option B - Laguna Loop, Coming from the East via Cainta or Antipolo - Drive towards the town of Famy either thru Teresa or thru Angono. Drive straight ahead until you reach the "T" junction of Pagsanjan where the Catholic Church is located right across the Pagsanjan Municipal Hall. Then follow the guide already advised above at Option A. 2. Commute Commute - Go to the HM Trans Bus Station at Cubao, Quezon City. It's located at EDSA near the intersection of Aurora Blvd. It is right beside the 5 Star Bus Station. Ride a Bus going to Sta. Cruz, Laguna (P140). When you reach the HM Trans Bus Station somewhere near the boundary of Sta. Cruz and Pagsanjan, Laguna, there are jeepneys that are bound to the town of Cavinti (P21). Alight at the Cavinti Junction, where you can hail a trike to bring you to Barangay Duhat. At the end of the barangay road, you will reach the FARM-T-HOUSE located inside the FarmShare Prime. *Local fare prices subject to change without prior notice. Airbnb Booking Price is on a per pax basis. This Farmstay TUBE-T-HOUSE in particular can accommodate up to 2 Adults plus 2 Kids for a total of 4 pax max. Same as Adults, each Kid is also counted as 1 pax. The simple way to determine the price is to visit the Airbnb account. When you are at the booking page, select your preferred check-in and check-out dates. Immediately after, input the number of Guests. Choose 1 Guest if solo, 2 Guests if couple, 3 or more Guests if small group. Then Airbnb will automatically compute it for you! Note: Re-schedule is allowed but NO Refund Policy applied. FARM-T-HOUSE The Farmstaycation FARM-T-HOUSE is perfect for Work-From-Anywhere social distancing. It is ideal for solo-adventurers, couples or small groups who need isolation to experience peace and calmness and to enjoy focus for productivity and creativity amidst a rural and very rustic farm setting. CAMPING IS STILL THE MAIN THEME We are not a (luxury) resort hotel, but a nature-adventure farmstaycation camping site. Bring everything you think you'll gonna need to feel and enjoy camping, including personal stuffs such as extra towels and toiletries. And yes, it would be really cool if you will also bring your own camping gears and stuffs like LED flash lights, extra folding camping chairs, ice coolers, (rain) jackets, utensils, portable stuffs like camping stoves, etc. Farmstaycation at FARM-T-HOUSE basically includes a sofa-bed with sheet cover or a mattress and a couple of pillows. Better to bring your personal blankets and extra pillows for a more comfortable stay. If you will be with companions, consider bringing their own sleeping bags or mats and own pillows too. There's a provision of LED light and a power outlet for (gadgets) charging. And yes, an electric fan also. A BBQ grilling area will also be provided; bring your own extra sets of charcoals. And don't forget to bring marshmallows to toast and for s'mores during the (complimentary) bonfire bonding! WHAT TO BRING at the FARM-T-HOUSE Still, bring everything you think you'll gonna need to enjoy your stay. Portable stuffs, like tables & chairs, coolers etc. For better comfort, bring extra blankets and pillows. Also, bring personal stuffs like towels, toothbrush and toiletries. And don't forget to bring food for bonfire like marshmallows or even Grahams and hotdog if you want! What most of our past Guests were doing, they brought their own bought food to grill: like BBQ, steaks, sausages, variety of seafoods, etc., and marshmallows to toast. They also bring their own electric kettle, camping stove (not electric stove/induction cooker). Kindly Bring Your Own Food & Drinks. CORKAGE FEE NOW FOR FREE: This simply means that you can bring now ALL the Food & Drinks you want without a Corkage Fee or for FREE!!!and/or rice cooker and cook their own rice. And of course, they too brought not just food but also their drinks. Simply because camping is still the main theme. And the good news is, the 20% Corkage Fee is now for FREE! Hence you can buy and bring all the food and drinks you want without any fee. COOKING GUIDELINES & REMINDERS The power outlets provided inside the T-HOUSE is good only for small wattage usage like gadgets charging. High wattage appliances like electric kettle or rice cooker are not allowed to be plugged-in at those outlets since it may have a short circuit and burn the wire, and possibly the T-HOUSE. There's a designated power outlet for high wattage appliances; kindly coordinate with our camp site rangers so that they could lead and show it to you. FOOD ORDERS Yes, you can also order Food when you're in the Farm. The Agri-Park of FarmShare Prime offers Food and Drinks that are available as indicated in their provided Menu. Simply ask for their Menu if you want to order Food on site. BAREFOOT ZONE Shoes, Sandals, Slippers are strictly NOT allowed inside to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in your T-HOUSE Accommodation. NO SMOKING inside the T-HOUSE; only at the outside or at the designated Smoking Area. KEEP IT CLEAN - To maintain cleanliness, sanitation and to prevent foul odor and unwanted penetrations of ants, bugs, or any insect or mold develop inside the accommodation unit, eating or drinking (except water) are strictly not allowed inside the T-HOUSE. There are designated dining areas or you can drink and dine outside. *CLEAN AS YOU GO. If Guests will bring their own Food & Drinks, they have to bring also their own garbage bags. All Guests who will bring their own Food & Drinks are strictly required to also bring out with them and dispose their own trash (not within the FarmShare Agri-park premises or in the town of Cavinti). This policy is a strict suggestion of the local Tourism Office. Failure to do so will incur a fee. GOOD HOUSEKEEPING Always keep the premises of your designated accommodation clean and tidy. Keep the doors and windows screen close to prevent any insect from coming in. Bringing out of things inside the T-HOUSE such as tables and any linen are strictly not allowed. Dispose all your trash properly to the provided garbage bins outside. PETS ARE ALLOWED Pet Fee: 1 Pet (dog or cat) = P500/pet per overnight Just be fully responsible and accountable Pet Owner. We expect that you will always take care of their mess at all times. They should be inside a crib at night and are not allowed to go on to the linens (kakapit balahibo) and sofa bed (may nasira na kasi dati dahil sa kalmot o kagat). Speaking of kagat, make sure that they have proper injections and keep them away from other people na baka accidentally makagat. The hospitals are many kilometers far away from the camp site. We need to be careful. Prevention is better than cure. Based on staffs' experience, pets like dogs & cats are risk to sofa bed. We have incidents that pets have the tendency to create holes and scratch of our sofa bed throw pillows and comforter inside the T-HOUSE or scratch the walls. Aside from the odor, pet hair also goes to our soft linen fabrics like bed sheets and blankets and our camp site staffs had a hard time removing them. Damaged properties shall be paid (original new price) and shouldered by the pet owners. Pets can be with their Owners inside the T-HOUSE but pets should be inside their own home separately during sleeping time hence kindly bring your own small pet tent/crib (so it can be allowed by the Management). FARM-T-HOUSE SECURITY There are some CCTV Cameras installed around the farm facilities. Yet still you are entirely responsible for your own safety and security. After lights-off at night, you can still ask for emergency assistance at the office of the FarmShare Prime. Based on our experience, the local community is generally peaceful and the farm property is safe from any intruders or burglars ever since we started our operations there. In the past, not a single incident that there was a case of anything bad happened related to security. Yet still, be careful with your personal belongings since we cannot guarantee about the behavior of the occasional locals or other visitors passing by or even your fellow campers around the farm during your stay. Always keep your unit/s closed when you're leaving it. Doing so will also prevent stray cats or dogs to prey on your food inside your accommodation units during night time or prevent getting wet due to an unexpected sudden rain shower. FARM-T-HOUSE REMINDERS FARM-T-HOUSE properties covered by your booking as well as those you borrowed or rented will be under your stewardship. You can fully enjoy it but be responsible to replace it or pay for its original price if in case you break it. We have 2 common bathrooms, 1 for the Gents and 1 for the Ladies. Unlike during weekdays, there are more Guests during weekends. This means that more people will share the common Toilet & Bath facility. Especially during the morning before checking out, people are lining up because the normal thing to do is to schedule usage of the T&B during the morning. We suggest that you schedule your trip to the T&B during times when only few Guests might be using it like during the late evening or at the break of dawn. As much as possible, confine your activities within your designated area. Please be pleasant with other Guest Campers especially when you are using the shared or common areas. Campers go to the FARM-T-HOUSE to experience and enjoy the theme of camping. Campers want to experience different camping activities like bonfire bonding or BBQ grilling; and during night time, campers want to relax in the midst of the great outdoors. Kindly respect other campers and observe good camping etiquette. Disrespectful campers may be ejected and be banned from the property in perpetuity. If you will bring liquors or alcohol, kindly drink responsibly. As a respect for neighboring Campers, all loud activities should be mellowed down after 9PM. Loud Sounds and Bright Lights Off: 9PM Complete Sounds and Lights Out: 11 PM FARM-T-HOUSE Compass or Rules are so simple... Just always be guided by good principle. Respect and be respected. FARM-T-HOUSE EARLY CHECK-IN During the morning, our FARM-T-HOUSE Staffs are all busy focused on booked Guests about to check out. Between 12NN to 3PM, their focus is on preparing the camping grounds, facilities, and to final-finish the T-HOUSE Farmstaycation setup for the incoming Guest about to check-in. 3PM onwards, they will be free to focus on serving new Guests who just checked-in. If Guests will arrive earlier than the standard check-in time (3PM), kindly understand if our FARM-T-HOUSE Staffs won't be there to serve you promptly, at least temporarily. There's a corresponding fee for early check-in and late check-out per hour. Parents should be responsible with their own kids. Keep safe always! FARM-T-HOUSE is available only thru Airbnb. As Airbnb Guests, Hosts expect that Guests during check-out should restore the accommodation place in the same clean and well organized state during Guests' check-in. Please, clean as you go.
