Lovely Mountain farmhouse, with fantastic views

A detached farmhouse in a wonderful mountain setting. The house has been recently renovated so provides modern comfort with traditional character. The open plan ground floor provides a versatile area for groups to gather together. The terrace is an ideal place to enjoy the sunshine and views. A swimming pool open July and August. The location is ideal for those wanting to enjoy walking or cycling or just relaxing in the mountains. In the winter too there is plenty of opportunity for skiing. This is an authentic Bigordiane Farmhouse in a lovely peaceful setting. The ground floor is an open plan area making it very sociable. There are comfortable sofas a TV and DVD and music dock. There is an open fire for cosiness in winter though the house is kept comfortably warm by the central heating. In the kitchen there is a range cooker, fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. A large wooden dining room table is provided for enjoyable meals. There is also a washing machine in the laundry room On the first floor there are two bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms . One has a double bed, the other has a double bed and bunk beds. There is a separate toilet . Also a sitting area with sofa and chair. On the second floor are two further large bedrooms and a shared shower room with wc. One has a double bed and a single bed, the other has a double bed and two single beds. There is also another comfortable sitting area. Outside there is a south facing terrace with beautiful views and an area of garden. In summer there is an above ground swimming pool for guests to use. You will have full access to the whole house and it's garden. We will generally be around to help but if not give you our phone number A perfect peaceful setting . Yet from April -October is a bar and mini shop where you can buy the essentials and fresh bread. You will be amazed by the beautiful scenery all around. You will need a car, but access is easy all year. A perfect base for a walking, cycling or family holiday! If you are interested in skiing, cross country skiing is about 20 minutes away. Downhill skiing is about an hour away(Grand Tourmalet or Cauterets) You will need a car but there is plenty of space for parking. Please note due to the size of the house, and different peoples requirements we do not provide breakfast. But bread, milk etc. can be bought in the village. Please also note that due to there only being 4 bedrooms we generally only accept groups with a maximum of 8 adults, please contact us to check the suitability of the property for your group.
