'The Shack' at Myola

Welcome to ‘The Shack,’ from its humble beginnings as a heritage listed fisherman’s cottage in the small unique village of Myola near Callala Beach, Jervis Bay to the renovated coastal home of today. Recently Awarded a Bronze Award by Stayz for Pet Friendly Accommodation in Australia, The Shack, as the house is commonly known, is set on a large 1,239m2 block of land and is within easy walking distance to the spectacular shores of Jervis Bay and backing onto the pristine waters of Currambene Creek. The Shack boasts 1 x sumptuous King Size Bed and 2 x Queen Size beds, so comfortably sleeps 6 people. We provide quality linen sheets and dreamy doona's to encase you after a long day. The property features 1 x Bathroom with all the modern requirements whilst sticking to the heritage charm and accessed through the master bedroom or from the front deck area. There is an amazing Timber Fireplace to keep you cosy in the cooler months and your coastal retreat offers a ready prepared fire basket so the warm glow can start upon arrival. Offering a reverse cycle air conditioner for convenience as well. There is a spectacular Deck area and outdoor entertaining pavilion complete with BBQ for guests to use and also FREE Wifi as well. The shed has laundry facilities for your convenience, an outdoor shower washes away the sand and surf plus there are paddle boards for the guests to use. Your Furry Friends have a secure back yard, because we also have one ourselves and know how hard it is to find places to accommodate holidays with ‘Pets’. We even offer ‘Shack Dog Biscuits’ on arrival and a water bowl provided. Myola offers a local Ferry Service during the warmer months and holiday periods to transport you to the cafes, shops, homeware stores and restaurants of Huskisson. A local bowls and golf club is available, supermarkets are within a short drive as well as a bottle shop, pharmacy and bakery. Myola is a unique, pristine village surrounded by a national marine park and we encourage you to explore and respect the local wildlife and environment and to also respect the residents of the community – we do not permit parties, or loud music after 10pm. Your host will provide all the information on local attractions, markets and unique local knowledge to ensure you get the most from your coastal retreat experience.
