Private home in Mokena with dogs - Room 2

This is a fun, eclectic, friendly home with available community space, loads of great conversation, opportunity for shared meals, walks with the dogs and friendly neighbors. Please see Room 1 for more details. It's a two story home with stairs. The house is 160 years old and creaks all the time. As an Italian friend once said, she was happy she did not grow up in the house as she would never have been able to miss curfew! Living room, kitchen, dining room, porch are all available to guests. I love to share conversations, time on the porch, and meals with guests. We are 3 blocks from the Metra train station to Chicago and Joliet, and a very short walk to our little Village's downtown. With a great dive bar serving $5.00 burgers with all the trimmings to a soon to be opened microbrewery, a great pizza restaurant, The home is one block from the police station - for those seeking information about security. My standard poodle might bug you for a walk!
