We will be available anytime to help with anything. We have both lived in Dorset all our lives so are happy to help you plan days out to explore Dorset which is full of beautiful places to walk, play and eat. There is a folder with information in each bell tent. Higher Lewell Farmhouse (our house) was originally built in the 1760’s and the date can be seen clearly written in brick on the front of the house. The house is situated at the top of Hardys Row on the outskirts of the village backing on to fields. Hardys Row was named after Thomas Hardy's father who built 6 houses on the row to house the poor of the village. West Knighton, the village we live in, is in the centre of Thomas Hardys stunning countryside. We are on the edge of the village backing onto fields so it is very quiet. The village is very pretty particularly in spring and summer as many of our neighbours are very keen gardeners. The village has a lovely pub serving very good food a 3 minute walk away and you can also walk to the next door village which has a very good pub too. Some Local Information and things to do.
