The Batch, in a lovely horse farm setting

‘The Batch’ is located 10km from Matamata on a working horse farm. Great place to explore Hobbiton, or do a few bush walks in the Kaimai ranges. Furnished with a Queen bed,bathroom, self contained Kitchen, dinning and living area, with garden outlook. The Batch is very spacious and comfortable, separated from the main house.Best suited for a couple. If need be a single foam mattress can be made up as an extra bed. You will have lots of room to unwind, sit out on the little deck and listen to the birds. And if you feel like it go for a little walk around the farm, the horses will come up to the fence and say hello to you. We are quite happy to show you around and explain the nature of our business to you. The Batch is separate from the main house, so it’s all yours. We are usually here when you arrive, and since we work on the farm, never to far away to answer any questions you might have. We are 10km from Matamata town centre, so you need your own transport. Or pick up could be arranged at an extra cost. The Kaimai ranges are 20 min drive away with beautiful bush walks, Wairere falls would be the most popular one, or if you feel like a real workout you could climb Mt. Te Aroha with amazing views. There are also a few cycle tracks in the area and we are only 1 hour away from Rotorua or Tauranga. Also the airport is only a couple of hours away. You do need your own transport to get here, alternatively pick up can be arranged at an extra cost. When you arrive you can park your car in front of The Batch. You are going to be on a working horse farm. Horses always have right of way. Once you come through the gate, please drive slowly!
