We offer extremely comfortable guest bedrooms and bathrooms, individually designed and fully refurbished to provide luxurious B&B accommodation. Our 3 double bedrooms have flat screen TV, free wifi, private or en suite bath/shower, and tea & fresh coffee making facilities. Our breakfasts have been much praised, and we can usually offer evening meals Monday to Thursday, and salad or sandwiches over the weekend. We have off street car parking. There are 3 pubs within walking distance, and more pubs and restaurants a short drive away. Our location is within easy reach of Cambridge, Duxford Imperial War Museum, and business and research facilities such as Granta Park Abington, TWI, Great Chesterford Business Park, Genome Campus Hinxton, Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute, Babraham Research Campus, Volvo Construction Duxford and Spicers Sawston. We’re also a convenient B&B for Stansted Airport and only an hour’s train ride from London Liverpool St, for easy access to central London. Free parking is available on our drive. We are less than 10 minutes walk from the railways station with services to London ( just over 1 hour) and Cambridge (8 minutes). Orchard Pond is set back from the road in large secluded gardens with a pond, terrace, orchard and decking area. Guests are very welcome to relax in the gardens and also have the use of a large sitting-room which overlooks the large front garden. Free bikes also available for our guests to use. For a small extra charge, they can also use the hot tub and sauna. We much enjoy meeting and greeting our guests, and where possible like to offer tea/coffee and homemade cake on arrival. We live in the house, and although guests have their own key and come and go as they please, we enjoy chatting to them when our paths cross. Our house is positioned up a long drive so it is usually very quiet and peaceful. It's proximity to the Imperial War Museum at Duxford makes it an ideal spot for air enthusiasts, and we are also close to Cambridge for those visiting the university. We are less than 10 minutes walk to a main line stations for trains to Cambridge and London.
