The perfect place to relax. Set in leafy New Farm, this Large double brick 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment has everything you might need to stay isolated yet entertained. The apartment is tiled throughout for ease of sanitisation with carpeted bedrooms. All rooms have built-in wardrobes. Open plan living & dining with loads of natural light and windows allowing delightful breezes. All the mod cons, with quirky charm. This home is so spacious it feels like a house rather than an apartment. The master suite boasts a king sized bed, built-in robe, air conditioning & a ceiling fan. The 2 smaller rooms each have a queen sized bed, built-in robes and ceiling fans. The tiled living area has a 6 seater dining table and comfy couches with a huge 65 inch wall mounted smart TV. There is WiFi available and a (Hidden by Airbnb) Home to give information about the area ( She answers to. “ Hey (Hidden by Airbnb) !”) The sunny enclosed patio is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your coffee with the paper or the breakfast bar that looks into the kitchen is great to sit and chat with whomever is preparing food. There is enough room for everyone to do their own thing without feeling crowded. ~ No smoking in the apartment or in any common areas please~ You will have access to the entire apartment and the common areas. There is limited visitor car parking onsite, but plenty of free on street parking. Single Undercover garage available for bookings 14 days and over. We won’t be onsite while you are there but are only about 15 minutes away. We do shift work but are usually available via email or text. The Merthyr Village Shops are less than 700 m away ( 2 minute drive or 8 minute walk). There is a: Coles Supermarket Australia Post Coffee shop New Farm Deli Doctor’s Surgery Chemist Butcher Gift store Multiple Restaurants within walking distance including Thai, Chinese, American BBQ & Modern Australian. News Agent Within a block of the apartment is: A corner store A coin laundromat The Moray Cafe The Little Larder A Dentist City Cycle Bicycle rentals. New Farm Park, less than 1.5km away, is also a lovely place to bicycle ride or walk around and enjoy a picnic or BBQ. The Brisbane Riverwalk is a water highway for pedestrians and cyclists jutting out along the most scenic tract of Brisbane river between New Farm to the Howard St Wharves and on to the Brisbane CBD. The 870m long Riverwalk is segregated for cyclists and pedestrians. There are heaps of great little bars and restaurants at Howard Smith Wharves. Public Transport : The apartment is situated within zone 1. Translink Bus #196 Stop 11 at the corner of Moray St & Langshaw St on the opposite side of the road : goes via Fortitude Valley to the CBD and over to the Cultural Centre at Southbank. Ferries and City Cats Sydney Street Ferry Terminal is less than 800m away ( about an 9 minute walk) Ferries leave from here for: Northshore Hamilton in one direction and North Quay CBD & University of Queensland (St Lucia Campus) In the other direction with stops at the city and Southbank. The Red and White City Hopper is a free ferry. CityHopper operates every half hour from 6 a.m. to midnight every day. It stops at 8 terminals along the Brisbane River which are: -North Quay -South Bank 3 -Maritime Museum -Thornton Street -Eagle Street Pier -Holman Street -Dockside -Sydney Street You can even walk to town via the Brisbane City Riverwalk. Taxis and ride share are also popular options as parking in the city can be expensive. This is not a party building and is not a huge anonymous multi story apartment block, so it really has a neighbourly feel. As a courtesy to our neighbours we do ask that while in the common areas you refrain from excess noise. No smoking in the apartment or any of the common areas. There is so much to do in the surrounding area, with plenty of restaurants, public transport and shops within walking distance. Food delivery is also a breeze. There is a large washing machine & dryer in the second bathroom & a clothesline on the back verandah. If needed there is also a coin laundromat within 1/2 a block.
