A calm place to unwind, sun,pool, sunsets

My house is light, airy and has a warm feel with the colours of the rooms. Even in the height of the summer the area is quite calm. Beautiful waking up to hearing the birds singing in the morning! The sunsets are beautiful, see who can see the shooting stars first! The house is situated at the end of a cul de sac, so no traffic problems! There is space for parking two cars directly in front of the house. It has a spacious garden with a table tennis in the corner and surrounded by a large hedge. Shallow steps descend towards the lower part of the house. The pool can be entered from both ends by gates with spring bolt openings, to prevent children access on their own for safety reasons. The pool has a robot which cleans about three to four times a week. There is someone who comes to put it in and they will show someone responsiblehow to take it to take it out when finished. The games room is next to the pool area. There are two sets of petanque, table tennis bats and balls and tennis raquets available for use in the two tennis courts situated behind the house. There is a small childrens swing and play area beyond the tennis courts. This is my home so when you are here I am usually visitng friends in the area. My neighbour(English speaking) lives next door and is happy to help if there is a problem or advice needed! I am always contactable on (Hidden by Airbnb) for any qeries on places to go etc The village Bar620 is a great meeting place with live music twice a week during summer. We have our own little village shop which has fresh bread, croissants, pain au chocolat daily, and roasted chicken cooked on a spit every Sunday! A 5-10 mins walk (depending how fast you walk!) and you are on the village green called "The Bosquet" which is the centre of the village. A car is needed as no buses into Carcassonne. Good walking routes in this area. Bicycles can be hired from next village. Great wine area so ideal for visiting local chateaux for wine tasting.Please let me know if you are interested and I can arrange this for you. Some also have a very reasonable bistro! They are well done and really enjoyable. Main town of Carcassonne is 25 mins away. Lots of large supermarkets! The famous medieval city of Carcassonne is not to be missed! Fascinating history and great places for a meal, or just a coffee or an ice cream!
