The Old Chapel is a picturesque 19th-century chapel, converted into a stunning 4-bedroom Cotswolds family holiday home, sleeping up to 10 (maximum 8 adults). Slad is two miles from Stroud which has frequent direct trains to London Paddington (90 minutes). The whole house is available to guests. We have off-road parking which can take 3 cars. Our property manager is nearby if needed. Surrounded by wild flowered meadows, ancient woodland and rolling hills, with breath-taking views and walks directly from the front door, Slad is an ideal base for Gloucestershire walking or driving holidays, and is well-positioned for visiting the beautiful villages of the Cotswolds, and towns such as Bath and Cirencester. A car is essential. We have parking spaces for several cars. The nearest railway station is 2 miles (3km) in Stroud. Please note a minimum weekly stay is required during peak periods; Christmas, New Year, half terms, Easter and the summer months. Changeover day is Friday for week stays, and Monday for weekday stays. The Old Chapel is also not suitable for wheelchair users and people with restricted mobility as it is situated at the top of a steep bank and numerous steps provide access. One well-behaved dog is allowed but please contact us first, as there is an additional cleaning fee. One of the bedrooms is small - it has a pull-out bed but there's not much room when both beds are used. Please see the floorplan.
