Two bathrooms. Hudson Valley Shakespeare festival. Appalachian Trail. Accessible to Cold Spring, Beacon, with restaurants, antiquing, music venues, DIA Museum. Folk, Jazz, Rock performances at Towne Crier Cafe, Paramount Center, Tomkins Corner Cultural Center, Bean Runner Cafe. Bright quiet 3 bedroom house, 2 full baths beautifully and comfortably furnished. one hour drive from New York City, also convenient to Metro-North train. On four wooded acres. Screened in porch, our favorite room, where you can eat meals, lounge in the hammock, or read while listening to the songbirds. All modern amenities. Library/office with wi-fi, deck, garden. Nearby are golf, theater, restaurants, historic house, hiking - Appalachian Trail. Spacious living room with large fireplace. This is our home and we love being here, but when we're away it's available for rent. Hudson Valley sites and amenities within easy driving distance. Swimming and boat access 20 minutes away, at large sand beach Fahnestock State Park, 20 on Rte 301, near Cold Spring. Town of Cold Spring has antiquing and many restaurants. Nearby, there's historic Boscobel House with the Shakespeare Festival and Farmers Market. For hikers, the Appalachian trail is about a mile from us. The Hudson River is 15 minutes away, off of the town of Cold Spring, and other access points. Beacon has the famous DIA museum, restaurants, a blown glass gallery, and the Town Crier Cafe for folk and singer-songwriter music. Metro North Train, 15 minutes from house. This is our home, lovingly decorated. Only rented when we are away. We are high on a hill with cool breezes. But with warming summers we have now installed room air conditioning. During the pandemic -- now and for the foreseeable future -- Lake Celeste Community association, in which our property is located, forbids renters from using community facilities and surrounding property: lake, tennis court, etc.
