A port or red wine in front of the open fireplace is common in winter, as is a chilled wine on the veranda over looking the park in summer. Alfresco dining on the veranda, patio or lawn overlooking the park is a favourite nearly all year round. This is not typically a children friendly house. No extra bed in the rooms. The house is a replica of a country estate residence built in 1903, but includes modern convenience and complements the sub-tropical climate and casual lifestyle of Brisbane. The house has a classic old feel with interesting and genuinely old features. Grove Manor has catered for garden party events for up to 120 people, and sit down meal events for up to 30 people.
