Quirky Converted Garage Guest Suite Brynsiencyn
Stay in a quirky converted garage, part of a 19th Century stone terrace. A private room with washroom and space to dine, the suite is situated in the village of Brynsiencyn on the main coastal road through the South of the island. Our little garage is a perfect stop off point if you have a busy itinerary or plan to visit some of our many local attractions. It is a comfortable and relaxing space which is in excellent vicinity of countless beauty spots and a stone's throw from a fabulous day out. We are less than two miles from the Menai Straits water front and there are quiet country walks virtually on our doorstep. The garage is on the high street which runs through the village, the garage doors are set back from the main road through the village, allowing you to park in front, it can be fairly busy during tourist times. The space is perfect for a couple but also suited to a small family. There is space for your own travel cot and we also have a camp bed which can be set up for an older child or an adult. ** Please bear in mind that we do need prior notice so that we have time to set up the extra bed, there is also an additional charge of £5.. The camp bed is fairly basic, it’s a simple metal frame with a thin mattress but the bedding is soft and cosy as you’d expect on a normal bed. Amenities- The garage is situated on the ground floor at the end of the terrace, it has a separate entrance with a self check in key lock box located by the door. We will either greet you ourselves or you can use the lock box, depending on the time of your arrival. It is a busy road so if traffic noise bothers you, it might not be suitable. It is generally quiet after dark, ensuring a peaceful night for all but the lightest of sleepers. You are welcome to use the on road parking directly outside the garage, or up the road If you prefer. The apartment adjoins the main house. You will have exclusive use of the room and we will not be present, unless you require us for any reason. We rarely use the adjoining room, so noise shouldn’t be an issue. The space has been converted into a small guest room and you overlook our private parking gravel driveway and old stone outbuilding. Please note, we do use the outside space for growing vegetables and cut flowers so you may see us tending to our crops from time to time. The room has a small washroom with slate tiles, comprising a modern power shower, hand basin, w.c. space for your toiletries and a heated towel rail. We include cruelty free/vegan solid soap and shampoo bars which you are welcome to use during your stay and take with you on your travels. There is free wifi and a smart TV along with USB charging ports for your devices. Electric radiators keep the place warm and cosy when required. The main double bed can be folded back into a comfortable day bed style sofa should you require extra space or just prefer a single bed. Parking- On street parking is usually available directly outside the garage, you can park over the white access line but please do not block the pavement for prams and wheelchairs. You’re also welcome to park further along the street if you prefer, or in the carpark at the top of the village (a three minute walk.)
