Druid Cottage at Druid Farm

Druid Cottage is fully-equipped and furnished, with two bedrooms; one double with a king-size pine bed, and one twin with optional cot. Bed linen, electricity, Wi-Fi (40mbps) and central heating are included. The bathroom offers a shower over bath and WC. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker, microwave, fridge, kettle and washing machine. The lounge comes with TV. Ample on-site parking is available. A private garden space is provided. Guests are also free to use the shared landscaped gardens. The surrounding farm land is very quiet and relaxing. Druid Farm is within 10 miles of the cities of Bristol and Bath, yet far enough away to avoid being disturbed by them. The host lives in a nearby house on the farm. Guests are always welcome to ask questions and for assistance. Equally, guests can choose to not engage with the hosts. Set in the green pastures of the Chew Valley and surrounded by gently rolling hills, the cottage is adjacent to the Two Rivers Way footpath, and is close to the River Chew. The neighbouring fields hold three Bronze Age stone circles which pre-date Stonehenge. Walkers will be rewarded with stunning views in all directions. Chew Valley Lake is located 2 miles to the west, providing sailing, trout fishing and nature walks, along with award-winning fish & chips! There are several pubs within walking distance, serving local ales and restaurant food. There are a host of top-rated golf courses within an 8-mile radius. The Wi-Fi connection was upgraded in December 2020, with download speeds of around 40mbps.
