Enjoy heritage Bath to the fullest by staying at the luxurious Kensington Chapel. The apartment is situated in a 18th Century Grade II listed building, built by the architect John Palmer. You will find it furnished to the highest standard, with all the comforts of home - plus a few extras to get you settled. Perfect for a weekend getaway, a catch up with friends, a celebration or as a base for business. Please note the sofa bed is for up 2 kids so we can only have 4 adults in total. The apartment is on the third floor of the chapel, accessed via lift or stairs. Once inside the apartment, you'll find a wrap-around, open-plan dining, living, study and kitchen space. The dining and living areas look out onto the roof-top terrace, and the high-ceilinged kitchen features a stunning, modern chandelier. The cosy but functional study space includes some fun lighting features. The living room features a generously sized smart television and two beautiful sofas, one of which converts to a double bed for use by children only. The bright, warm dining space features a rustic wooden table with leather bucket seats and allows a generous amount of space for 6 diners. Back along the art-filled entrance hall, you'll find a separate toilet and airing cupboard before entering the master suite - Lost Eden - with king-sized bed. The en-suite bathroom is beautifully decorated and features a half-circle bath. At the end of the entrance hallway is Fiesta Grande and Fiesta Pequeno - a suite of two bedrooms (one on mezzanine level) with walk-through dressing room and an en-suite shower room. This suite mixes the vibrance of Mexican and Indian influences, with lots of pops of colour as well as captivating artwork and sculpture. The beds are both king-size, the mezzanine is reached via a semi-spiral staircase and the shower room also features a toilet. You'll be within a stone's throw of a major supermarket and several cafes, pubs and a restaurant. A 20-minute stroll or 5-minute car journey will get you into the centre of Bath with its shops, restaurants, cafes, bars and the famous Roman Baths, Thermae Spa and Theatre Royal. The whole apartment is free for you to enjoy, there is high-speed wifi throughout and ample kitchen equipment to cater for six guests or more. The kitchen has a Nespresso machine with some pods to get you started. The bathrooms have powerful showers and all decoration, fittings and furnishings are brand new. If you wish to check yourselves in, we will send you the instructions two days before you arrive and then send the keycode on the day of arrival. If you prefer to be checked in personally, we will assign a check-in officer who will contact you on the morning of your arrival to confirm the ETA you provided on your arrival form. If you arrive more than an hour later than the agreed time or you have requested an assisted check-in after 5pm a £20 service fee will be applied to your account and will need to be paid before entry is granted. Kensington Chapel is on the main road into Bath from the east, although it is set back enough not to be disturbed by traffic. It sits in a grand row of Georgian properties, typical of Bath's architecture. The surrounding apartments are all privately owned. It is a quiet and reserved location. You can easily get around on foot, however there are busses and taxi's available - contact your hosts for more details. Bath has Uber.
