The Melon wine is a speciality of the area, and walking in the wooded hills is a delight. Sumptuous breakfast featuring local produce included. Evening meal bookable in advance. Chambre Gamay is accessed by an individual path and front door, with en-suite shower room and adjoining wc. A private terrace takes you up to our higher level fruit garden where you can wander at leisure.Room can be either two single beds or large double. A chic sitting room is at our guests' disposal for quiet relaxation if the weather is either too hot or too cold, or just for chilling.... Ravers & Clubbers will be somewhat lost. unless they are looking to recuperate. You need to have a car unless you arrive by bike or motorbike. The nearest train stations are Corbigny (8 miles) & Clamecy (15miles). Our village has a selection of walks with maps feauturing countryside, villages, hills and woods. And the nearest shops for groceries or bread is 5 minutes by car. The Nivernais Canal is 10 minutes downhill by bike, but the return is a steep long climb, making a fun challenge for the adventurous :-)
