Breakfast outside weather permitting Assorted teas, coffee/decaf, fruit snacks One delightful, ageing cat called Tallulah lives here too. Warm, cosy stylish space, very comfortable ample orthopoedic tempur memory foam beds with reclining and electric head and foot raise functions. Peaceful garden view. Can be converted into twin bedroom upon request. Access to shared kitchen whenever you need with hot drinks provided. Double Bedroom access via one flight of stairs, shared bathroom and shower, separate WC, kitchen, garden and patio. I love hosting and enjoy making sure guests have a great homely social experience when they stay here. As a chef l also love sharing foodie places to eat out and l like to add special touches to breakfasts. It's important to me that visitors get the best value from their visit and l enjoy recommending my favourite haunts as there's so much to do and see around here. Belinda’s home is located in quaint Dartington with a 5 min car drive or 15-20 min walk to Dartington Hall, Schumacher College and 5 mins car to Totnes, England, United Kingdom. Dartington is an old village which has managed to retain it's unique semi rural community feel and tucked away charm...there are magical nature walks close by the back door and fascinating conversations to be had with friendly locals. Nearby post office & store provide necessities plus the excellent Shinners Bridge shop authentic home-cooked Indian takeaway, organic groceries and amazing handmade halva. The fantastic local Almond Thief artisan bakery & Cafe, Riverford Organic Farm shop is 5 mins drive away where you can buy local organic veg plus artisan products and much more. Superb wholesome food is part of our local landscape. The steam train from Staverton to Buckfastleigh close by the river Dart makes for a wonderful day out especially the magical family Santa Ride at Christmas. Stunning Dartmoor walks and ponies are a 10 minute drivel Easy and close access to buses and trains, 5 mins away, Bicycles will get you to many local attractions. Private parking for house. Interaction with guests I love hosting, meeting new people and sharing the best places to visit in Devon. As a chef l also love sharing foodie places to eat out. It's important to me that visitors get the best value from their visit as there's so much to do and see around here. I can provide an informal taxi service to Schumacher College and Dartington Hall plus the station when needed plus reasonably priced soupy suppers on request. Other things to note Two mins walk to the famous medieval thatched Cott lnn, now Pub of the Year and close by Dartington Hall Gardens is a 5min car trip or 20 min walk offering a superb wholefood Green Cafe and the charming Barn Cinema. Also fantastic independent shopping experiences in The Shops at Dartington, especially during in December plus the unique Christmas Markets held in Totnes. As my elderly cat Tallulah lives mainly in my sitting room as part of the family, I'd recommend anyone with severe pet allergies to book elsewhere.
