Cavaletto - luxury mountain retreat

In the heart of the Italian Dolomites; easy access to many and varied magnificent ski areas, including the famous Sella Ronda. Facing south, Canaletto has four bedrooms and bathrooms, large living/dining, kitchen, sauna, two balconies, ski locker. Although this is listed as an apartment it is in fact the top two floors of a historic listed chalet just on the edge of Cavalese and Varena. During the summer m months, there are kilometre after kilometre of wonderful hiking areas, mountain biking Recently completed to a very high standard , Canaletto is modern in terms of facilities, but combines this with the feel of Alpine tradition. It has two balconies and a small rear garden area with a BBQ area. There is on site parking for 3 cars. We have a cantina which combines a laundry with a ski boot area. The entire property is available as a single unit. with all rooms for guests' enjoyment. As specified, we will not be in residence, but will always be available by 'phone, or email. We have local people on hand to help with any queries and advice. We are just on the edge of the town with a small stream running along side us. We are 9 minutes walk to the centre of Cavalese where you can take the ski bus to any number of resorts along the Val de Femme and up to the Sella Ronda, or an easy drive. The local hiking is stupendous. There are regular ski buses nearby and a local taxi service within the valley is very inexpensive. The nearest airport is Verona or Innsbruck, from either you can get a train to Ora (25minutes) or Bolzano (50minutes). The walk to town with many good restaurants is only 9 minutes out and 11 minutes back. There are 3 car parking spaces and a laundry and ski store downstairs in the cantinaThe walk to Varena takes about 11 minutes up and there is a wonderful pizza restaurant as well as bars etc in the village - and it's downhill coming home!
