Renovated in 2019, our terraced house is located in the delightful market and canal town of Stone. Whether you are in between houses, on business, or if you just want to explore the Midlands, the location is perfect. The house is a 2 bedroom terrace, consisting of an open plan lounge/dining room, galley kitchen, utility area and downstairs bathroom with shower over bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms, one double and one twin room. Outside is a small courtyard and patio area. The house is located within a conservation area and is only a short walk to the town centre, supermarket and train station. The town has an abundance of bars and restaurants to choose from. In October every year the town becomes the foodie capital of the Midlands hosting a food and drink festival. There is a pretty rear garden which is fully enclosed. It has a paved patio area perfect for alfresco dining. Nearby there are some beautiful areas to walk in the adjoining countryside. Guests have access to the entire property. We live in Stone ourselves, we will either meet you at the house or utilise the key safe for self entry. Help is on hand during your stay with us. Local places to visit include the famous Staffordshire Pottery museums including the Wedgewood Estate; Trentham Estate and Shopping village; Monkey Forest; Cannock Chase forest and Alton Towers. Stone and the surrounding area hosts a number of wedding venues and our home provides a perfect place to stay if hotels aren't your thing. There is a supermarket located within easy walking distance and a Marks & Spencer food hall is new to the town. There are some lovely country walks on hand with the nearby downs banks, a little wilderness of woodland and heath only a 5 minute car ride away. Stone railway station is a minute's walk away and connections to Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and London are available.
