The Booroolgunyah Luxury Farm Stay is a recently renovated private guest wing attached to the original soldier settler cottage set among beautiful trees, native gardens and classical old farm buildings. A relaxing setting for family and friends to enjoy the wildlife and bountiful vista's of the High Country. Enjoy the many hiking and riding trails, picnic areas, games shed and other amenities on our farm followed by a unique wood-fired hot tub experience at sunset and/or sunrise. The Booroolgunyah Luxury Farm Stay provides guests with exclusive use of the guest wing and associated facilities via 2 private entrances. Some of the luxury amenities include: - 3 spacious bedrooms with individual heating and cooling options, 2 with North facing decks; - Rain shower heads in each bathroom, large bathtub and crystal clear purified rain water throughout; - Modern kitchen with 3 oven compartment dual function (gas/electric) stove and barista quality coffee machine (fresh coffee beans provided in welcome pack) and large fridge; - Large alfresco dining and lounge area (insect proofed) with overhead heating for dining table with adjoining Weber BBQ. - Library/TV/Games room with a wide range of books, games and DVD's for all age groups and SONY blue-tooth stereo speakers; - Wood fire Hot Tub, open fireplace area, freestanding pergola; - 14ft In ground trampoline; - Shearing Shed Games room with Table Tennis, 7ft Pool Table, 8ft Air Hockey Table, Darts, 75" HD Television/DVD, WII, Weight Gym and AudioEngine Blue Tooth Speakers). We also offer (free for guests): - 5 bikes (BYO helmets) including: 2 Specialized Carbon cross trail bikes (M and F) and 16" (with trainer wheels), 20" and 24" 7 gear speed childrens bikes. The "Gallery Bedroom" features a large en-suite bathroom with a double vanity, walk-in robe, study desk, and elevated north facing deck overlooking the gardens. "Bedroom 2" features a large wardrobe and 2 double beds. "Bedroom 3" features a large queen-size bed, inbuilt wardrobe and elevated north facing deck which overlooks the gardens. Bedroom 2 and 3 also share the spacious "Main Bathroom" which features a large vanity, toilet and huge shower and bathtub. All bedrooms are furnished with premium quality mattresses, electric blankets, ceiling fans, aircon/heating units and black-out blinds for a long, comfortable nights' sleep. The modern kitchen is equipped with a 5 burner, 3 oven, 2 grill multi-function stove, barista standard coffee machine and full-size fridge among all other essential amenities. A Weber BBQ placed undercover on the Northern corner of the guest wing deck can also be used as an oven or grill. The Library/TV/Games room is stocked with many books for all ages (new and old), board games, cards, jigsaw puzzles, a Jigsaw Table and a wide range of DVD's to watch on the flat-screen TV and blue tooth stereo speakers. This room is also fitted with air-conditioning and heating so can be used for dining in or just hanging out on very hot or cold days. The large Eastern Deck is enclosed with a see through mesh to create an open and "insect free" alfresco dining, serving, and lounge area with an overhead strip heater for the dining table. The freestanding pergola detached from the house where the outdoor hot tub area and open fire pit are located also includes an undercover dining area. All bookings are provided with a guest welcome pack which includes locally sourced eggs, freshly baked bread, roasted coffee beans, milk, juice, butter (BYO condiments). Booroolgunyah is a working farm, please do not enter paddocks with livestock or any equipment and machinery sheds. Available by mobile from 8am-8pm. Situated close to Mansfield, Mt Buller, Goughs Bay (Lake Eildon) and Jamieson for all types of outdoor recreation activities including horse riding, skiing, bike riding, bush walking, picnics and wildlife watching with many local festivals and markets throughout the year. There are many restaurants, wineries and breweries that are within 15 - 25 minutes of our location. Onsite parking provided It is highly recommended that guests wear enclosed shoes, long pants and long sleeve shirts for walking around the farm and gardens no matter what the season. The wood fired hot tub is available subject to local fire restrictions and suitable weather conditions. Please bring your own beach towels, bath robes and sandals to use this facility. Supplied bathroom towels cannot be used for this hot tub.
