Lovely room in beautiful, secluded Dartmoor house.

Our home is a comfortable period, atmospheric house, set in gardens and woodlands just below the open moor in Dartmoor National Park, yet 7 minutes from Chagford town and it's lovely pubs/shops/restaurants. It is 10 minutes from Gidleigh Park Hotel & Restaurant. Perfect for couples, solo adventurers, walkers & or business travellers. The room has large windows and a beautiful outlook onto our native woodland. Birdsong in the spring is magical. Private room with own bathroom with freestanding slipper bath and separate wc. Breathtaking open moorland, river walks, pretty country lanes, a quaint village with pubs, shops and galleries all within walking distance. Great dog-walking and horse-riding country and lovely places of interest to visit. Public outdoor village swimming pool open in summer and many wild swimming spots to explore. We have two dogs and two cats. Bring your own horse and ride out from your door up onto the moor. Field space/hay/feed for up to two horses available on request at extra cost. Guided walks can be arranged on request at extra cost, with an expert guide from 'Dartmoor’s Daughter'.
