A path lined with pine trees leads up to property, children will enjoy, in addition to the pool, a play area and a swing. Much of the terrace is covered and overlooks the pool with built-in stairs. This villa is a good starting point for excursions in Languedoc: from the Canal du Midi to the banks of the Orb, in heart of an exceptional vineyard, discover many hidden treasures in the countryside. The Regional Natural Park of Haut Languedoc, with its mountains, transparent rivers, filled with fish, and lush natural Mediterranean environment , is easily accessible. Many beautiful picturesque villages surround this villa, such as Roquebrun, Cessenon sur Orb, St Chinian, Pierrerue, Cébazan..in all no less than 17 villages are well worth a visit. Only a few kilometres from the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean, between Béziers and Narbonne , Montpellier and Carcassonne! Nature, here, is preserved and teeming with life: fish, amphibians, small mammals and birds. Not to mention the flora: yellow irises, flowering rushes, all rub shoulders with various Mediterranean species, along hillsides and valleys adorned with a kaleidoscope of colours: oaks, almonds, figs and wild olive trees, orchids, thyme, lavender and rosemary. This extraordinary natural environment produces a bounty of tasty treasures to pick from the roadsides to perfume the products purchased at the local market: blackberries, figs, wild asparagus to flavour omelettes, leeks, garlic, fennel, salads and chestnuts. For the perfect relaxed outing why not go and stroll along the Canal du Midi. You will be able to walk between the locks of Argens, a small Minervois village, and those of Fonsérannes, a good place to discover both during the day and at night.
