Welcome to our Hunchy Cottage located on two acres in the foothills of the scenic Blackall Range. Just 1 hour from Brisbane the cottage offers privacy, gorgeous views and a peaceful country feel. Only minutes from the charming villages of Montville and Palmwoods, a great range of eating options and just 20 minutes to beautiful Sunshine Coast beaches. The cottage is separate from our home and is your own while you stay. You will enjoy great access to all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer. Our spacious and character filled cottage has lots of natural light, lovely high ceilings and a deck overlooking our acreage and rain forest setting. The cottage has a northeast facing aspect, fans in the bedroom and lounge room and louvre windows which makes for a nice breeze. It also has reverse cycle air conditioning. It has a fully equipped kitchen. The cottage is completely separate from our home and is your own while you stay. The cottage is separate to the main house but we are close by if you need anything at all. We will not impose upon your stay or interfere with your opportunity to rest unless you need us. Our location offers the Sunshine Coast's unique blend of relaxed beach life style and hinterland charm. We are happy to share our local knowledge with you and have provided a folder with a great range of attractions. Great range of dining options including the hugely popular Ricks Diner in Palmwoods less than 5 minutes from your cottage. Great coffee and awesome markets selling local products. Plenty of places to explore within minutes of the property. Spend the morning at the beach and enjoy the serenity of the Hinterland for sunset. A limited selection of cereal, milk, condiments, coffee and tea will be provided for your stay. If you are able to bring a laptop with a HDMI port there is a HDMI cable that you can stream through to the TV with and free wifi to access Netflix etc. There is a DVD player with a selection of DVD’s in cottage. The cottage has a Ozzi Kleen septic system so please be mindful of products used.
