LAKESIDE GARDEN RETREAT

Our boutique 2 bed-roomed self-contained and self catering unit is light, bright and comfortable. It has 2 bedrooms with queen sized beds, Bathroom with bath and shower, fully fitted kitchen, Lounge with wood-fire, Wifi, TV/DVD, reverse cycle air-conditioner and your own deck with BBQ. THIS PROPERTY IS UNSUITABLE FOR UNSUPERVISED CHILDREN DUE TO PONDS, LARGE DAM, SCULPTURES AND RARE PLANTS. Our property offers our guests a place to relax and unwind. As we live on 6 acres, and only have one lot of guests staying at a time, every guest is assured of privacy, peace and the chance to reconnect with nature. At the same time, we are close to wineries, great restaurants and places of interest in the area. We can take 4 people in the main accommodation. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed, plus we do have a cot available. Our price of $160 per night is for the first 2 guests, then $35 per extra guest per night. Enjoy the peace and tranquility of our 6 acre garden, with winding paths to explore. There are many shady trees and places to sit and relax. Hand feed birds and get in touch with nature.You have your own private deck with outdoor setting and barbecue. This area is a mecca for nature lovers, cyclists, walkers and anyone wanting peace and quiet. You have full access to our gardens and have private parking in a fully fenced property. Our home is on the property, so we are on site. We have 2 friendly Labrador dogs who love meeting new guests however, if you do not like dogs, we can keep them away. All the properties in our neighbourhood are 5 acres or more, so we have no neighbours living on top of us. This ensures peace and and tranquility. There are many wineries in our area, as well as some top restaurants. We live in the "Foodbowl" of Western Australia so there is an abundance of fresh fruit, vegetables available, including avocados and fish such as trout and marron. Truffles are grown nearby and served at a local restaurant. Big Brook Dam is an idyllic place to visit and is 5 minutes drive from our property. The Gloucester Tree is a 5 minute drive too. Beedelup Falls and Karri Valley are 20 minutes drive away. Your private parking area is right next to your front door, and is free. We have our garden open to the public 2 or 3 times a year and try to maintain an interesting and colourful garden all year round. Our garden is an ideal wedding ceremony and wedding photo venue, and we have hosted 4 weddings to date. Pemberton is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Margaret River, 1 1/2 hours from Walpole and 1 1/2 hours away from Augusta, so it is ideal as a central pivot point to all these destinations. Public transport is by bus which runs to and from Bunbury, our nearest city, most days. A reliable train service operates from Perth to Bunbury as does a coach service. If you hire a car for the duration of your stay in the South West of Western Australia, Pemberton is approximately a 3 1/2 hours' drive heading south west from Perth. Pemberton town has a supermarket, chemist, post office etc and is 4km away. We have our garden open to the public 2 or 3 times a year and try to maintain an interesting and colourful garden all year round. Our garden is an ideal wedding ceremony and wedding photo venue, and we have hosted 4 weddings to date. As Pemberton is approximately 1 1/2 hours from Margaret River, 1 1/2 hours from Walpole and 1 1/2 hours away from Augusta, it is ideal as a central pivot point to all these destinations. We put complementary muesli, Just Right cereal, a bowl of fruit, home-made biscuits for afternoon tea, tea/coffee and milk in the accommodation to help you settle in. Our nearby supermarket is well stocked and should be able to supply you with all your food requirements.
