The boats still come and the white caps are great.Still great for a waterside holiday, or a long weekend get away. Rug up and walk along the beach in the winter. Fabulous viewing spot at "Oliver's Hill" Frankston. 20 minutes drive to beautiful Mornington Peninsular and wonderful wineries. Right side of Melbourne to do the Penguin Parade at Philip Island. Fishing Charters from Patterson Lakes walking distance(600 to 700 metres). 300 metres to Carrum Station to City of Melbourne and Frankston. Great bus service too. Door to Door from Airport (Sky bus) - Direct Peninsular Sky Bus (FAPAS) from airport to Chelsea train station which is 2 stations from Carrum station then easy walk to our place. Taxi rank at Chelsea station. (2 k's - 5 minutes from our place). We have a Covid safe plan in place. Due to Covid unfortunately we will now only provide milk, tea and coffee for you on your arrival. Washing machine $3.00 or laundrymat 5 mins away. Only shared space is hallway from front door. Aldi Supermarket (licensed) at Carrum Station, 300 metres walk. Also licensed bottle shop next to Aldi Please note the location pin is not accurate. We are exactly where the mouth of the Patterson River meets the bay. (Port Philip Bay). We are in an idyllic beach side location, but we are also in the suburbs with a train station and buses close by, which makes it easy to get around without a vehicle. Our beaches and walking and bike paths attract both locals and visitors to our area with the public walking by, bike riders, boats coming in and out of the marina and with it we enjoy the sounds and activities of an urban area.
