Robins nest is a modern property that has been renovated and furnished to a particularly high standard. It is easily accessible and all on one level. Robins Nest is less than a 10 minute walk from village shops and amenities. The cottage is fully double glazed. Gas central heating and instant hot water on demand are provided by a recently installed combi boiler. Kitchen Area: Our kitchen is fully equipped and has a washing machine, dishwasher and fridge freezer. Dishwasher and fabric pods as well as cleaning materials are supplied. USB charge points. Dining Area: Table and 4 dining chairs overlooking the pretty back garden. Lounge Area: Bright and welcoming space with 2 comfortable sofas and a single chair. Feature wood burning stove (available to use Autumn/Winter season- first basket of logs and kindling is complementary). Freeview/Freesat television. USB charging points Master bedroom: This is a fitted luxurious Kingsize room with ample storage. Freeview television Twin bedroom: Large room with twin beds suitable for adults and children. Wardrobe and chest of drawer storage. Bathroom: Modern shower cubicle. We provide a supply of shower gel and shampoo. The Hall Cupboard houses ironing board, indoor clothes airer and hoover. Laundry basket and clothes pegs are also provided. Garden: Large wrap-around beautiful and private garden. The rear garden is the perfect place to relax and unwind.. It is fully enclosed and child friendly. There are 2 seating areas and a summerhouse that provides additional comfortable rattan seating. A large lockable shed that can easily accommodate your bicycles and outdoor gear. Patio set and charcoal bbq are provided. We supply bbq utensils and the first bag of charcoal. Our guests receive a welcome pack on arrival. Our prices are inclusive of gas, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels. Village shops are less than 10 min walk away and include butchers, fruit shop, deli, chemist, craft shops, post office, ATM and convenience stores. Comrie has 3 pubs / restaurants and a fish & chip shop. Aldi and Co-Op supermarkets as well as B&M are 6 miles away in Crieff. There are 5 golf courses within a 10 mile radius from Robins Nest and they all welcome visitors. Walkers, hikers and mountain bikers are well catered for. The area surrounding Comrie is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with numerous river, woodland, hill and mountain tracks, trails and ranges close at hand to enjoy. Cyclists can head to Comrie Croft, the local biking centre. For days out, you will have a large choice of different local attractions including Auchingarrich wildlife centre, Drummond Castle with its beautiful gardens, The Famous Grouse Distillery with a chance to sample Scotland's national drink. Edinburgh and Glasgow are about an hour drive away. Nearby Loch Earn offers fishing and water sports. Comrie has some of the best river side walks and its hills and glens add to the fabulous scenery. The owners live nearby and are on hand if guests have any questions during their stay. While guests can enjoy the peaceful privacy of Robins Nest, yet it’s only a short pleasant walk (less than 10 min) to the busy Drummond Street and its many shops. There are lovely views from various aspects of Robins Nest. Comrie is in the centre of the scenic Strathearn area, a gateway to the Scottish Highlands. One hour drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow. The local area is popular for hill walking and cycling. Various activities are nearby such as golfing, bowling, fishing in addition to the fantastic Glen Lednock circular walk, Deil's Cauldron, Auchingarrich wildlife centre, Glenturret distillery, Drummond safari park and many historic castles and sites. For health and safety reasons, guests with infants and young children are asked to provide their own mobile cot, high chair and other relevant requirements.
