Loves Terrace - Your special place in Rylstone

Loves Terrace is a beautifully restored 1855 stone cottage located in the heart of Rylstone. Just a few minutes walk to the centre of town, Loves Terrace was built from local stone and has a special place in the history of Rylstone. Original features of this beautiful cottage have been restored along with modern comforts to make your stay memorable. The original mini-orchard has been restored, along with lovingly established lawns and gardens. You will find Loves Terrace to be a comfortable and well restored home suitable for two families, a small group of friends or just a couple for a special weekend away. Our gourmet kitchen is well equipped for you to bake up a storm. The main TV room has a large format TV with free to air channels, a DVD player with a selection of DVD's a large lounge and open fireplace. We have a second sitting room with a Chesterfield Lounge and open fireplace. The Dining Room has a large extension dining table and slow combustion stove. There is a selection of jigsaw puzzles, books, historical memorabilia and local curio's to while away the hours. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed with reverse cycle air conditioning, electric blankets, bedside tables with lamps, dressers and cupboards. The sleeping level has 4 bedrooms and a small bathroom with shower, toilet and basin. The main bathroom is on the lower ground floor and has been lovingly restored and has a shower and free standing claw foot bath. Our wonderful gardens have been designed to make outdoor living comfortable during the hotter months of summer as well as the chilly parts of winter. We have a wood fired stone BBQ as well as a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and snuggling. Our deciduous trees provide plenty of shade in the summer - there is always a shady spot to sneak away and read a book, sip a glass of wine or just lie in the coolness of the grass. We have 3 adults bikes and 2 kids bikes all with helmets. We have a sanitising spray for helmets and some basic tools. There is a bicycle pump. Please make sure you ride safely and always wear a helmet. We also have a range of balls, cricket bat and stumps and other outdoor games. We want to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible. If you have any issues at all, please let us know as soon as possible. Get your coffee fix from one of the cafes in town. Saffron Kitchen at 47 Louee Street and Café on Louee both have terrific coffee and snacks. Rylstone wood fired bakery is currently closed for renovation and wont be back open until Feb 2021. Rylstone Butchery is a traditional style butcher - the sausages are terrific. The Globe Hotel offers the best beer in town as well as fantastic meals. Tell the staff we sent you - they will look after you. If you want to meet some local characters, the front bar of The Globe is the place. The famous 29 Nine 99 Yum Cha is owned by Na Lan. People travel from all over to eat at this famous establishment. If you prefer a club meal, try the Rylstone Club - a good bistro and cheap beer. There are plenty of antique and curio stores around Rylstone - just wander wherever your feet take you. The historical walk around town is well worth the journey. There are a number of wineries a short drive from the centre of town Please advise bed configuration required so we can make sure we have the necessary beds made up and rooms unlocked. The base nightly rate is for 4 people. Please select the correct number of guests so you are not inconvenienced with a locked room on your arrival. Room 1 - Queen bed Room 2 - Queen bed Room 3 - Queen and single beds Room 4 - 2 single beds There are quite steep stairs to level 1 (bedrooms). There are handrails and adequate lighting We provide Tea (herbal varieties as well), coffee, hot chocolate, jams and a small milk. We also have the usual kitchen condiments of salt, pepper, oil, some herbs and spices.
