Stunning home in Beaulieu with 2 Bedrooms

Set in a peaceful, rural, lakeside location outside the village of Beaulieu in the Massif Central, this holiday property has commanding views over Lake Bort-les-Orgues and the upper reaches of the Dordogne river. Close to the protected “Parc naturel régional des volcans d'Auvergne”, it is surrounded by the majestic scenery of the departments of the Cantal, Corrèze and Puy de Dôme just waiting to be explored on foot, bicycle or horseback. A short walk along a path across the fields takes you to a sandy beach on the lakeside where you can swim, fish and canoe and there are organised boat rides on the lake. Nearby there are castles to visit including the Château de Val and museums on local themes including the regional fauna and flora, geology and archaeology. Le Mont Dore (40kms) has thermal springs with a spa and health centre and there is no shortage of outdoor markets full of local produce and specialities to savour. The friendly owners have a mini camp site and a small organic farm with cows (delicious fresh milk), and chickens (fresh eggs), just 150m from the house. You can order fresh bread and croissants every morning at the camp site and visit the farm, and children are welcome to help feed the animals. NB. Sheets and towels not provided. / The house is not suitable for the disabled. / You can use the Wifi at the camping's reception office for free (150m away).
