Private Annexe : Idyllic Village (near Bath)

Set in the beautiful village of South Wraxall with its award winning pub & 14th century church, yet only 15 minutes from the World Heritage City of Bath! The space is a light, contemporary private annexe with own shower room & loft bedroom. Our home is a contemporary renovation of a 1960's bungalow that we began in 2015, we hope you like the Scandinavian inspired feel! The space is lovely and quiet, annexed from the main house (half over our garage) with its own entrance door, loft bedroom, shower room, sitting area & lovely views over the paddocks to the rear. There is a small worktop, fridge and coffee/tea making facilities in the stair lobby. Guests have access via a side door which leads through the back entrance hall, through a back room set up with a small table and chairs that guests are welcome to use. Downstairs there is also access to a shower room and a small amenities area (equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster and crockery) & then a stair leading to the spacious loft bedroom. We have a self check-in lock box that enables guests to come and go as they please. If we can we like to welcome guests and show you around, but once settled we will leave you to enjoy the peace and quiet. Obviously if you need anything at all to make your stay more enjoyable please don’t hesitate to ask! We live in a very quiet, tranquil village - no street lights, but the stars look all the better for it on a clear night! An award winning pub, village club & beautiful walks are just some of the joys if you are staying close to home. The Longs Arms is our local village pub and is perfect for those who are real foodies. We would recommend booking in advance as it is very popular with the locals! It’s open Thursday to Sunday. (Website hidden by Airbnb) Sadly, the one thing we miss is public transport from the village - a car is a must to get out and about! You are however within a 15 minutes drive from Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Lacock and many more beautiful attractions. Sorry, no smokers or pets. We are happy for guests to bring their own food or enjoy a takeaway but we ask that guests don’t bring their own cooking stoves.
