It is quiet, peaceful, bright, very clean and inviting with all amenities and modern décor. Free off street parking. The private bedroom is located on the first floor with door chain, double bed with quality linen, blanket, doona and extra pillows, mirrored full wardrobe, small desk,ironing facilities, own heating and cooling. The private full bathroom is luxurious and complete with full deep bathtub with bath salts and candles provided for a candlelight bath. Shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, toilet paper, hairdryer & weighing scales. The private lounge area adjacent to the bedroom has tea & coffee making facilities,crockery and cutlery. A workstation with Wifi. A private outdoor space "chill" to relax, have a meal, enjoy a glass of wine or read a book whilst listening to the birds. Shared full laundry facilities. Cooking facilities for longer stays to be negotiated for use of the family kitchen on ground floor. Shared fridge freezer and microwave in family kitchen.There is a local café and restaurant within walking distance. A variety of other restaurants, local shops, supermarket/bottle shop, post office and large shopping centres are nearby for other needs. Montmorency Train Station is 15/20 minutes walk and 5 minutes by car. Bus stop to Montmorency station and Airport is 2 minute walk from house. A safe and convenient location/base to explore the attractions of Melbourne & Victoria. Guests have access to their private bedroom, private full bathroom with shower and bath, lounge area with Tea/coffee making facilities and a workstation with access to Wifi. Use of microwave & fridge located in the family kitchen and laundry facilities to be shared on ground floor. A private outdoor garden space for relaxation. The nearest train station is Montmorency 3 minutes by car, 15/20 minutes to walk and 12 minutes by bus. Bus stop is 2 minute walk which also has a bus to the Tullamarine Airport. Visit the CBD, Montsalvat artist colony in Eltham. Eltham Farmers’ Market is held every Sunday from 9am to 1pm. The market is on the ‘official’ lists of the 8 best farmers’ markets in Melbourne by both Weekend Notes and The Urban List. Heide Museum of Modern Art in Bulleen. Kangaroo Ground Memorial Tower a 39ft tower with a viewing platform at the top with panoramic views of Melbourne and surrounds. Enjoy a day trip to the Yarra Valley wineries, hot air ballooning, Healesville Zoo, Blue Lotus Water Garden & picturesque country towns such as Marysville & Warburton which is between 1hr to 1.5hrs drive. Close to freeways to Great Ocean Road and Mornington Peninsula. Guests to meet the requirements of being fully vaccinated for Covid19. No refunds will be given if you decide to leave the accommodation during your stay including due to lockdown. The accommodation is not available or will not be accepted for any less than the minimum 1 night stay. There is no seperate entrance to guest accommodation. Please advise approximate check-in time prior to arrival and inform of any delays. Early check-in and late check-out with prior arrangement subject to room availability. Please respect the privacy of family after 8.00pm and keep noise levels to a minimum in the private loungre area with TV and loud/speaker phone conversations after this time. Consumption of Alcohol to be with respect to the family home. Strictly NO VISITORS of guests (family or friends) permitted to enter the home at anytime. No Smoking both indoors & outdoors. Extra charge of $5 for laundry facilities for stay of 2 days or less payable directly to host. You may be asked to leave the premises at any time if any of the house rules are violated or are not adhered to. We have a very friendly, quiet and unintrusive family dog called Anna. She is not permitted to enter your accommodation area
