Traditionally furnished mountain home with large balcony featuring stunning mountain views. Ideal location just a 5 minute walk from the Tonale ski lifts, 10 minute walk from the main square of Ponte di Legno and 15 minute walk from the golf course. Our home is perfect for a couple or for a family of 4 and comes with all you’ll need to make your stay an enjoyable, memorable experience. Make yourself at home in our spacious master bedroom, which has ample closet space and opens up directly onto the balcony so you can enjoy the fresh, crisp mountain air in summer. The living room features a working fireplace and double sofa bed, should you be holidaying as a party of 4. Our kitchen is fully equipped and comes with a dishwasher, so you can prepare and enjoy meals if you wish. You’ll have access to the entire house, are free to make use of any of the amenities provided (unless locked away), and also the use of a private parking lot. We are based in Singapore so unfortunately will not be present to greet you. The building administrator will be present to provide you with the keys and show you the space. Upon booking we will provide you with a local contact whom you can reach out to should you have any urgent issues or questions during your stay. We will also be contactable via AirBnb for non-urgent issues (please note that due to the time difference between Italy and Singapore, there might be a slight delay in us getting back to you). Upon confirmation of your booking we will send you the contact details of the building administrator so you can arrange pick up of the keys directly with them. Ponte di Legno is an ancient town a couple of hours drive from Milan in an area called Valle Camonica, on the border between Trentino and Lombardy. It was one of the first ever ski resorts in Italy and the largest in Lombardy, with over 100km of pistes accessible via a network of 30 ski lifts (5 mins walk from the apartment). Beyond alpine skiing, there is plenty to do in Ponte di Legno, from cross-country skiing, to ice skating and even dog sledding! Throughout the year you can enjoy the dozens of restaurants cooking typical regional food, the many shops in the elegant town centre selling everything from traditional crafts and foods to high fashion, a round of golf at the Golf Club Ponte di Legno (only 10mins walk from the apartment) or mountain biking. Ponte di Legno is also famous for cycling, and is one of the main through-fares of the famous Giro d'Italia. - SKIING & SNOWBOARDING - The Italian Ski Resort of Ponte di Legno is part of the Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta area with access to 380km of downhill skiing, with 297 individual pistes, served by 150 ski lifts. In addition to the skiing in Ponte di Legno itself (46 pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Skirama Dolomiti Adamello-Brenta ski resorts of Andalo, Fai della Paganella, Folgaria - Lavarone - Fio(SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), Folgarida / Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio, Monte Bondone, Passo Tonale, Pejo and Pinzolo. With many pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is assured for most of the year. - Skiing in Ponte di Legno - Ponte di Legno offers good skiing, particularly, for Intermediate skiers. - Snowboarding in Ponte di Legno - Rated highly for boarders, thanks to its wide open powder bowls, fast easy uplift and high value pricing. A snowpark for snowboarders can be found under the Tonale-Valena ski lift. All trails are open to snowboarders and the most dedicated will want to hire a guide in order to make the famous Pisgana off piste. - Tonale ski lifts: 5 min walk / 1 min drive (free shuttle bus right outside the property). You will also be able to hire skis and ski boots here. - Golf course: 10 mins walk / 3 mins drive - Ponte di Legno town centre (including restaurants, bars, shops): 15 mins walk / 5 mins drive - Nearest supermarket: 5 mins walk - Passo Paradiso ski lifts: 15 mins drive - Indoor swimming pool and sauna: 3 mins walk Airport transfer times (approx): - Milan (all airports) = 2 hr 45 mins - Bergamo (BGY) = 2 hr 20 mins - Bolzano (BZO) = 1 hr 55 mins - Brescia (VBS) = 2 hr 20 mins - Innsbruck (INN) = 3 hr 10 mins We recommend hiring a car to get to Ponte di Legno from the airports. The area is also full of wonderful towns and scenic spots, best accessed with a car. The apartment also comes with a private car park right outside the entrance for your convenience. We don’t have wifi, but there is free wifi all around town - and it’s accessible from our balcony. All towels and bedlinen are provided for your use. If you are guests for more than a week, the house will be cleaned weekly for your convenience.
