Relax in nature in Liguria

Just 15 mins from the beach, the house has a fully-fitted kitchen, a bathroom with washing machine, a large double bedroom, a sitting room with a double sofa bed, satellite TV, DVD player, WIFI, a terrace overlooking a wonderful valley of olive groves Just 15 minutes away from San Lorenzo al Mare, the apartment offers the ideal holiday for families who love nature, peace and quiet, and walks in the forest and yet at the same time don’t want to be too far from a beach or the convenience of a town. For city-lovers, Sanremo is just 40 minutes away, and Montecarlo and Nice, less than an hour’s drive. The apartment is in the historic centre of Pietrabruna, just a stone’s throw from the parish church, residing in a quiet “carrugio” (a typical Ligurian medieval alley) The apartment was renovated in keeping with local architecture, using typical materials, such as slate, stone and wood. The furnishing has also been chosen with care; the apartment contains antique cupboards, wooden tables, and period furniture. It provides bed-linen, and for the kitchen there is an iron and ironing-board, a clothes-horse, a hair-dryer. It also has a satellite TV, a DVD player and a log fire. There are comfortable stairs to the house; a free public parking place is just about 300 metres. The apartment has a private terrace, about 15 mq, overlooking a beautiful valley of olive groves. We do our best to make our guests feel at home. On arrival we offer them a taste of our home made limoncello or jam, vegetables and fruit from our garden, which they may also purchase. We give them all the information about the lovely excursions and walks in the area. The apartment is in a quiet alley in a beautiful medieval Ligurian village. It is just a few minutes from the parish church, from the oratory, from the ethnographic museum and the local shop. This is also a little cafe, but there is another one "La Colombiera", which is both bar, restaurant and pizzeria. Here you can have local food, a snack, a pizza, drink a good glass of wine or a cool drought beer. There is a public parking place 300 metres from the house. There is a bus service from the village to San Lorenzo al mare and to Imperia. Our guests may rent a car, advisable choice, from the nearest airports of Nice and Genoa, otherwise they may take the train and then a bus to the village. The area is still little known; there are beautiful excursions and in less than two hours you may get to the top of a mountain and yet have a breathtaking view of the sea. A must is the new cycle path from San Lorenzo al mare to Sanremo. You may rent a bike there or use ours for free.
