Stuc ant Sagairt is a listed building, built in the 1750s. It sits in 7 acres of private grounds midway between the charming villages of Drymen and Balmaha, less than 2 miles from Loch Lomond, which can be viewed from the bottom of the private garden. The Cottage forms the western end of the main house. Newly and luxuriously renovated in 2019, it offers a lovely lounge with wood burning stove and patio doors opening to the outside seating area and private garden. Barbeque available on request for a small charge. It has a semi open plan dining room and well equipped kitchen. There are 2 bedrooms - the master has a super king bed and an en suite and the second bedroom has a king size bed. There is also a family sized bathroom. The Cottage has dedicated private parking in the courtyard conveniently situated next to the house's entrance. This luxury cottage has recently been refurbished and has two bedrooms - one Super king with ensuite and one King. There is also a single sofa bed in the King size bedroom (small additional charge). The lounge has a wood burning stove, solid oak flooring and a 50" Smart TV with wifi. There is a separate dining room with a solid oak floor and a modern kitchen. The french doors from the lounge open on to the deck overlooking the private garden and beautiful countryside. There are several restaurants and pubs in Drymen including Scotland's oldest - the Clachan (1734) - Billy Connelly's old local!! The Loch is 2 minutes away and the view from Conic Hill was voted in the UK top ten in the Telegraph. Balmaha which is beside the Loch has a popular bar and restaurant, The Oak Tree Inn as well as a good coffee shop and ice cream parlour. There are a variety of outdoor activities including golfing with the championship course of Loch Lomond, as well as Buchanan Castle course and Strathendrick only a few minutes away. There's fishing, horse-riding, cycle paths, forest trails and tree top adventures. Loch Lomond is the largest loch in Britain by surface area and one of the best places to try watersport activities including jet skiing, wake boarding, paddle boarding, water skiing and kayaking.
