Sunshine Bay gem! 2 minute walk to beach !

Light airy unit close to Sunshine Bay perfect for a couple or a family . Situated a 2 minute walk from Sunshine Bay this is a delightful retreat in summer or winter. Some of its features - fans in all bedrooms and a/c in living area - children's bedroom downstairs complete with TV and DVD player - northern facing living room makes it a sun trap in winter - high chair and portacot available - bed linen and towels provided . WiFi now available This unit has been in my family and a much loved escape to the sea over many years . My children are all adults now with children if their own and so it is now hosting another generation . So good to see! A couple of years ago I renovated it and it looks great. The downstairs bedroom is set up for the children but of course adults would also find it very comfortable. With its own tv and DVD player the children love to make it their own leaving Mum and Dad to relax in peace upstairs. Master bedroom has plenty of room for a portacot But when I redecorated I was thinking of 2 couples holiday ing together so both bedrooms upstairs have queen beds . A new stove, refrigerator and washing machine brought the appliances up to date as well. The balcony is a delight! Complete with Weber barbecue and hidden away from the street it is the perfect place for relaxed holiday dining . Glimpses of Sunshine Bay sparkle through the trees adding to its charm . This unit is just as good in winter as summer . Facing north the living room, main bedroom and balcony are drenched in sunshine . In fact there can be battles over who will recline on the Leather lounge to soak up that beautiful sun. I’m sure you will love it as much as I do. The unit is totally yours but please note there is no garage. A parking space is available . I am available by phone should there be any problems . I also have a local cleaner who helps me look after the unit so together we are a great team ready to look after any issues. Other than that you are free to make it your own . Sunshine Bay , a 2 minute walk away , is a quiet little bay surrounded by trees. It feels like your your own private beach! Great for quiet walks along the seashore but also perfect for little ones with gentle waves lapping the shoreline. Across the road from the unit is a caravan park which has a small store - great for milk, bread etc. Not far away are the Batehaven shops with a great IGA store , a bakery, butcher, cafe , pharmacy etc. I can recommend the fish shop which doesn't carry a lot of stock but ALL the fish is straight from the local fisherman's boat and I can honestly say it is the best fish I have ever tasted! Batehaven also has a great playground for the kids and the park hosts a Sunday morning market and a carnival over the Christmas period. A must do is a visit to the Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens - great for young and old! A great play area for the kids, BBQ's , wildlife galore and plenty of walks ( pick up a map as you enter) and free entry! Good cafe there as well if you don't feel like a picnic! Buses run along Beach Road and the local taxi service is good if you don't want to drive . I provide limited quantities of toilet paper and clothes washing detergent. If you have an extended stay you will be required to provide your own.A portacot is available but please bring your own linen .
