The Cow Sheds form part of the original 17th C Grade II listed Farm, enjoying private views across open fields and 14th C Church. Renovated to a high standard to include underfloor heating, modern kitchen, ensuite to each bedroom, direct access to a covered car port and private patio area. Village location with 2 pubs and ideally situated for visits to Longleat, Frome, Stourhead, Bath, Glastonbury. * Recent upgrade to SpaceX STARLINK Wifi* A solid Cotswold Stone building the Cow Sheds are one of two self contained annexes on the property. The Cow Sheds have 2 double ensuite bedrooms which provide guests with independence and privacy. The large open planned lounge/diner/kitchen and private patio is the perfect social space and affords views across the paddock and church. The modern kitchen includes an induction hob, built-in dishwasher, full oven and grill plus builtin fridge and combi microwave, as well as the usual tea and coffee making facilities. Guests also have access to a chest freezer. This property can be linked with the adjoining annex in order to accommodate up to 8 people (subject to availability). Both properties would need to be booked through the owner. The patio is accessed direct from the open plan lounge area with the benefit of large folding doors to bring light and sunshine into the living space. The patio has comfortable furniture where you can sit, eat and drink. With little light polution in the immediate area, on clear nights guests can enjoy a bit of star gazing. We have EV charging at the house and will be happy to make this available to guests by arrangement. The Cow Shed has it’s own entrance, which is accessed from the covered Car Port. Access through the main entrance and patio doors involves one small step, but once inside the property is on one flat and even level. There is also access to EV charging in this area (by prior arrangement and at a cost) and a Chest Freezer. *Please note: We have CCTV covering the car port and driveway for our own and our guests security. We live on site and will be available to offer assistance during your stay. Sociable, but also respect guests privacy. The house is located on the edge of a charming village, with two excellent pubs (all within walking distance), a local shop & post office, bakery and chocolate factory! We”Literally a few minutes away from an M&S convenience store plus Whiterow Farm Shop with it's butcher, seafood and delicatessen counter, plus fish and chips and cafe, you'll be spoilt for places to eat and drink. Longleat and CentreParcs are 15 mins by car from the property and Bath is only a 25 mins drive, with regular bus services either passing through the village or the neighbouring village each day. Regular buses to Bath pass through our neighbouring village, which is about a 2 mins drive away. Advance booking for taxis would be required. * We have 2 very friendly senior Golden Retrievers who live on site with us and love to say hi to guests and visitors. If dogs are not your thing, and we respect that for some this is the case, we have fitted a gate to the side of the property and post and rail fencing around the patio. We also have pet sheep who graze in the paddock behind the property. * We do not accept guests pets and are also a Non-Smoking Property, in order to maintain an comfortable environment for guests with allergies. * This is not a party venue and only confirmed guests are permitted to stay. * We hope that you enjoy the property, but do ask that you are considerate of noise after 10pm.
