Spacious room, separate amenities in fabby G12.

Warm, light filled room in a two storey tenement that is full of life and colour. Recently renovated it has new floors and walls, a bay window seat, lots of space and everything you'd need in terms of furniture inc. big telly. Shower etc. adjacent A main door sandstone tenement with garden patio out front, the flat is very spacious over two levels and I have another bedroom which I use for occasional airbnb hosting as well during busy periods. The room has a large screen television and Virgin Tivo box offering multi-channels. Guests will have their own shower and toilet, access to the large dining kitchen, patio and sitting room. I enjoy welcoming my guests to my home and will be there on arrival to greet them. I often work from home so will be available to help with any questions my guests might have during their stay. Check-in and check-out times are flexible. Local attractions include Kelvingrove Park, (5 mins from the flat), The Kelvingrove Museum & Art Gallery, Glasgow University, The Huntarian Museum & Art Gallery including a reconstruction of a Charles Rennie Macintosh interior and the Botanic Gardens. As the flat is located in the West End it is within easy walking distance of the city centre. (it is a 2mins walk to Woodlands Road, a 2 mins walk to Great Western Road, and 10 mins walk to Byres Road and Ashton Lane) There you will find numerous specialist coffees shops, excellent delicatessens and some of the best restaurants in town. For those who like to shop, there are lots of interesting antique shops, retro clothing shops, second hand books shops, gift and jewellery shops. The vibrant Argyle Street is also within easy walking distance (10 mins) and there you will find award winning restaurants such as the Gannett and the excellent Crabshakk, Panevino, Fannie Trollopes, Roastit Bubbly Jocks and The Finnieston. The Ox and Finch and Stravaigin are also a stone's throw from the flat. You can walk everywhere from here. However, transport links are easily accessed. The flat is 2 mins from Kelvinbridge Underground which will take you to Queen Street Train Station and Central Station is a 5 mins walk from there. The M8 Motorway can be accessed at Junction 17, which is a 5 minutes drive from the flat. There is no free on street parking at the flat but there is metered parking very close by on Bank Street and in the Park area costing 20p for the first 20 mins and 20p for 10 mins thereafter. (3 hrs maximum stay) Overnight parking from 6pm until 8am is free. The nearest free street parking is at Wilton Street and the streets around Byres Road. This is a 10 mins walk from the flat. I have an old female border collie, called Skip and two outgoing cats. None of the animals are allowed in the guest room but they will be in the kitchen and communal areas.
