Ideal accommodation for families, couples & professionals, Wildwood House is also suitable for people with limited mobility. Located in the leafy suburb of Strathdale, Wildwood House is only 5 minutes drive from the Bendigo CBD and has a public bus stop only 300 metres away. Close to the Kennington reservoir, walking tracks, bushland and a short ride to the O'Keefe Railtrail. This is a spacious modern home with WiFi The living area is spacious with wall mounted TV and DVD player. The kitchen is fully functional and includes a dishwasher and microwave oven. There is also a separate dining area with 6 seat dining table. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and direct access to the bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a double bed. There is also a good quality foldaway full size single bed that can be set up when required. Please Note: If 2 guests require both bedrooms you will need to book for 3 people to insure linen will be provided for the second bedroom. If 3 guests require the foldaway bed, please book for 4 so bed and linen will be provided and set up. The large bathroom has a hand rail in the shower and is suitable for elderly travellers or people with limited mobility. The bathroom access is from bedroom 1 only however there is also a separate powder room. The large laundry includes a washing machine and clothes horse. The living areas all look out onto the private and central courtyard. For all year round comfort there is central ducted heating, a split system air-conditioner in the main living area and bedroom 1 and ceiling fans in the main living area and bedrooms. There is off street parking for up-to 2 cars. Please note there is no access to the lock-up garage. The property has a security system that monitors the driveway only. The small rear yard is not shown in the photos. There is a lovely coffee shop just around the corner (Harley St Cafe) , no more than 300m away. They brew their own beans. Also there is 2 shopping centres that has Woolworths, IGA, Aldi and other fast food shops. Bakers Delight, Butchers and a wonderful Deli (Edwards.) Both centres are across the road from each other. Resi Hotel also has wonderful meals. This area would be less than 5 minutes away. There is a public bus stop 100m away which runs daily if you don’t have a car. Wildwood House is situated behind the main house. It has a totally private driveway which is behind a large steel manual gate.. Wildwood House signage is on the gate.
