Escape to the country, unwind, relax and indulge! The ‘Cow Shed’ is Situated on the idyllic Cotswold escarpment overlooking the beautiful Severn Vale. The Cow Shed, was used by our family for bedding down the dairy cows for generations before us. The Cow Shed has now been beautifully and sympathetically restored and transformed into luxury accommodation for you and your friends and family to enjoy - and we cannot wait to welcome you! This luxury self-catering barn boasts two king size bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms set over 2 floors. The ground floor bedroom benefits from double French doors opening directly onto the flat level patio area and has a large shower room. The first floor bedroom and bathroom are full of character, with exposed beams and a window overlooking the farm yard. The accommodation also has an excellent, modern, well equipped kitchen with spectacular vaulted ceiling. There is a bright open plan lounge dining area with plenty of space for everyone with two pairs of French doors opening directly out onto the patio, allowing the outside in and for you to feel totally immersed in your surroundings. With large comfy lounge chairs for curling up in and dining area for eating and drinking it really has everything you need to relax, enjoy and unwind. There is a large hallway off of the kitchen with a cloakroom and washing machine. The barn is within a farmyard setting and we live in the main farm house behind. We are always around or on the end of the phone if guests need any help. The Cow Shed, is adjacent to The Parlour and located on a working farm close to the picturesque village of Uley. This unspoilt village is home to a number of amenities such as the community shop, children's playground, cafe and art gallery, together with the parish church dating back to the 11th century and popular country pub, The Old Crown. Nearby, there are several historic market towns including Dursley, Tetbury, Nailsworth and Stroud all within a 10 minute drive. The local area offers a range of tourist attractions including several National Trust properties, Westonbirt Arboretum and the Royal Gardens at Highgrove, Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Centre, plus an abundance of beautiful countryside walks.
