MIND the GAP on Lake Constance

Bright, quiet, spacious, well-appointed flat with three bedrooms, large living room, fully equipped kitchen and a rooftop terrace in a mansion from 1902 on a very quiet street. Perfect for a short vacation on Lake Constance or your business trip to St.Gallen. Fabulous house dating back to 1902 (ok, that ain't that old, but it comes with fantastic creaking floors and the most wonderful staircase). Flat is on the top floor and completely independent, no sharing of nothing required. The flat sleeps six comfortably on real beds with nice linen and high quality, real mattresses and can handle up to seven guests. There are three double bedrooms and one large living room (incl. a of course FREE WIFI and a TV-Set on demand) and a fully equipped kitchen (incl. Nespresso coffee-maker, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, stove, oven, kettle, Toaster and cutlery, dishes, glasses et al.). And should you miss anything, we're happy to find a solution in our downstairs kitchen. Garden, roof top terrace. A nearby long jump facility which is great for building sand castles on the weekend. The Bodensee which is fabulous in summer. The alps which are amazing in wintertime. Hosts could or could not be around. But if we're around, we try not to be grumpy middle aged Swiss Nay-sayers. Very quiet street with lovely neighbours and several schools. PHSG Pädagogische Hochschule St.Gallen is right next doors and has a public canteen and wonderful gardens. Two minutes walking distance takes you to our local grocer who stocks up on anything you need on a daily basis. A bakery is also located nearby and open on Sundays. Access to two railway stations (Rorschach Stadt and Rorschach HB) within 10min on foot. Busstop only 100m away (but that bus won't really take you anywhere, you need the train to go places :-). Journey to ZRH is 1.5h. There is a small parking lot right next door where you can park your car or small RV for CHF5 per day. That's a steal, innit! Hosts speak fluently English, French, Swedish and some Italian. And German of course. This AirBnB is as legit as it gets. We pay the "Kurtaxe" (visitor's tax) and of course declare 100% of our income in our annual tax statement.
