... the perfect beach holidays off the beaten track! Enjoy the rare uniqueness of the contemplative coastal town, Datca. Close to the center (still quiet) and to the beach (best water quality) our place provides the perfect holiday for young and old. The place is very close to the seaside and at the same time adjacent to the town center. The three bedrooms are furnished with double beds (1,80 m) and own bathrooms. The spacious living room comes with international TV. Furthermore a fully equipped kitchen invites to cook delicious meals with ingredients from the weekly market. The appartment has been renovated and newly furnished in 2013. It is very important for us to offer western standard concerning sanitary devices and furniture (new mattrasses etc.). Due to the shutters installed in the upper bedrooms, it does not become hot when morning sun arrives. The appartment is partly arranged with parquet, the rest is tiled. Each room is equipped with aircon and for cool winter days there is a fireplace in the living room. Each room comes with cupboards and a separated bathroom. Furthermore every room has a balcony. One room is a little more spacious and provides a roof terrace and additional sofa bed. The living room and one of the bedrooms have seaview the other rooms provide a nice view of the town and surrounding mountains. A fully equipped kitchen as well as a washing machine are available for usage. The host lives in Germany and is not in Datca most of the year. Contact persons will be named who can be assisstant in all issues. The appartment is situated next to two cafes, where the people play the traditional parlour game "Okey" exclusively during the daytime. The place is close to the promenade and still quiet. A beautiful overview over the bay and promenade is given from the terrace and balcony. Three nice and clean beaches lie within walking distance, whereas one is only 100 m away. Water quality throughout the whole town is signed with the blue flag for cleanest waters. Since there is a flat descent, all beaches are best suitable for children. In the surrounding of the apartment there are numerous shopping options, from the small and friendly grocery store to big supermarkets, from individual boutiques to brand specific shops (like Quicksilver etc.). Furthermore the weekly market (which is the biggest in the region) invites for fresh and good value edibles and all stuff you can imagine. The small streets invite for walks and the atmospheric marina with live music bars offers evening time activities. Restaurants are delicious and offer a broad range from romantic dinner directly on the beach to down to earth so called "Lokantas" with their authentic ambiance and traditional cuisine. A little further away from the new center, the old Datca invites for a walk in between ancient stone architecture and bloooming vegetation. The best organic breakfast (close to perfect) can be obtained there. There is a small hospital with western standard situated close to the place. Using the minibus ("Dolmus") it is easily possible to reach beaches further away, which are all worth visiting and some even more. It is not necessary to have a car since all activities are either close or easily reachable by public transportation. Datca with its stunning view of the greek islands (which also invite for a day trip) is an ideal origin for boat trips. The ancient site of Knidos is only a few kilometers away. The adjacent cities of Bodrum and Marmaris invite for sightseeing and shopping tours. Due to its special geographic position on a mountainous peninsula, Datca offers the perfect balance between laid-back easy living and leisure time activities.
