Cotton Tree Cottage is a recently renovated, dog friendly family holiday home with a unique and wonderfully spacious feel. The wrap around verandah provides the best of outdoor Queensland living overlooking mangroves, and at high tide, lapping water at the garden edge. This is an ideal location for a relaxing break from city living offering spaces for writing, reading and relaxing. Water access for those keen on kayaking and a wonderful fishing spot 250 meters down the road at Corroboree Park. The home has two large bedrooms on the upper level, one with expansive living space and water views. Both bedrooms have new King size beds. The living dining area is spacious, with large smart tv and the kitchen well equipped with high quality cutlery and crockery. There is a second lounge facing the water for quiet reflection. All rooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning, recently installed. Two stories, downstairs laundry and spacious garden. Undercover parking for one car. The loft is not accessible. Corroboree Park is a beautiful cove perfect for launching kayaks and for fishing in the early evening. The Golf Club is within walking distance and there is complimentary transport to the Bowls Club on the northern end of the island: a must do for an evening sunset. The Island has a small set of shops near the ferry terminal with all that you need from a well-equipped Spar shop, pharmacy, medical centre, the Blue Parrot café and the island hotel: Pub Paradise.
