Casa Ahau - Sea view Suite / Eco homestay

We are a small Eco homestay situated on the beach, surrounded by trees, offering a peaceful atmosphere... A little bit away from the center of Auroville, you can enjoy the nice ocean breeze and relaxing sound of the waves :-) We are situated 7kms away from the Matrimandir and 5kms away from White town. We have "rooms" in our garden: one is a bungalow with two floors, rented separately "Casa Maé" and "Casa Ahau" and the other one is "Casita", an independent tiny house. Our place is situated right in front of the beach. As there is no road close by, you'll only hear the sound of the waves and the birds singing... Casa Ahau is a big room with a private equipped kitchen, a bedroom space and a bathroom shared with the ground floor room. It has beach view. The bathroom is outside a few meters from the bungalow. You will access the bungalow through our home stay gate, you will enter Casa Ahau from one side of the bungalow, other guests will enter the ground floor room from the other side of the bungalow. I love to receive guests and share tips with them as well as introducing Auroville and share about our experience. In the meanwhile, I am taking care of my two daughters who keep me very busy :-) Our community is attached to Quiet healing center. It is a health spa and wellness center offering a wide variety of natural healing therapies. A place to relax, rejuvenate, recharge and heal... One of the highlights is Aquatic bodywork, treatment giving in warm water combining stretching and relaxation. The house is right in front of Quiet beach, it's a calm beach where locals as well as tourists enjoy walking and swimming. At the end of the beach there is a surfing spot and you can also find Kallialay surf school on the next beach, Serenity beach. We are close to ECR, the road connecting Chennai to Pondicherry. We're 7kms away from the Pondicherry bus stand and train station. To move around best is to rent a vehicle: electric cycle or scooter or regular ones.
