Scalpsie Seaside Glamping Pod 2

Stars, moon, still night air, glass of wine in hand, listen to the fire and the waves, relax and chill out. Enjoy breath taking views. "Home away from Home" Beautifully furnished cosy little Glamping Pod by the Sea at Scalpsie Bay on the Isle of Bute. The unique Beachfront setting of our Glamping Pod allows our Guest to enjoy the breath taking views across Scalpsie Beach and across the Sea to the Isle of Arran. The Pod is off Grid, powered by Solar Panels and LPG. We hope you find Scalpsie a "Home away from Home" Access to the Glamping Container only by foot or bike. No vehicle access. Vehicles can be parked at the Layby / Carpark at the top of the walk way leading to Scalpsie Beach. A garden trolley is provided at the Pod to allow easy transfer of luggage from the Carpark to the Pod. The Trolley must be returned to the Glamping Pod after use. We will be available in person or via phone. Surrounded by nature your neighbours will be the birds and the bees as well as the seals sunbathing on their rocky perches at Scalpsie Bay. Of course other people may visit the beach aswell :) There is no bus service to Scalpsie Bay, so the best way to "get around" is by car or taxi. There is a space to park your car at the top of the footpath going down the beach. Please do not attempt to take your car down to the beach or to the container. There is no Vehicle Access. There may be an opportunity in the future to rent E-Bikes on Bute and you can rent normal Bikes on Bute aswell at the "BIKE SHOP" The Open Top BUS is available for "HOP ON HOP OFF" during the Summer Months and operates Hourly from Friday to Monday. There are two ferries available on Bute. Wemyssbay to Rothesay and Colintraive to Rhubodach. Please make sure you familiarise yourself with the Ferry timetable and Status before you travel.
