Auld Ffynnon is a charming, stone-built detached cottage situated in a quiet lane in the Brecon Beacons village of Trecastle. This one bedroomed holiday cottage is ideal for couples looking for a peaceful break in the stunning scenery of the Welsh valleys, hills and mountains of the National Park. Trecastle is a charming village . There are several Pubs in Sennybridge which is only a five minute drive and they all serve good food. Auld Ffynnon is perfect for a get away from it all holiday. Ideal for couples, this traditional cottage is ideally situated in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The property provides a good size open plan living area featuring kitchen with electric single oven and gas hob, small fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave. In the living area there is satellite television, a dvd player . There is also a double bedroom and good size bathroom. Wifi is provided. Available from 1st June, 2018. At the moment we are blocking off 1 day inbetween each booking to make sure everything is clean and well sanitized. There is a small outside area for which table and chairs are provided. The owners live in a bungalow behind the cottage and are usually available to greet guests on their arrival. They are usually around if needed. There are several walks that can be done from Trecastle with views of hills and mountains, and also good for mountain biking. There is fishing available nearby at the Usk Reservoir. Sennybridge is 3 miles and provides 2 garages with shops, several pubs, Post Office, tea room and health centre. The market towns of Brecon and Llandovery are about 12 and 10 miles respectively. A car is essential as there is only a bus twice a week and two buses on those days. But all the best places will be seen on foot.
