Bridge House on the Plenty River

Unique two bedroom split level cottage with kitchenette/BBQ facilities & sauna on a quiet property (forest, gardens, river). Great place for fly fishing in the Plenty river, and just 15 minutes drive from the Tyenna river. Close (10 min drive) to New Norfolk (antique shops, cafes). 40 min to Hobart, 30 min. to MONA, 50 min to airport, 40 min to Mt. Field Nat. Park, 60 min to Lake St. Clair. Hiking, fishing, wildlife and history. A two level independent cottage on a small 8 ha. farm. Close to town, shops, super market, antique stores etc. Good trout fishing. The cottage is totally independant. As little or as much as you like. We can inform our guests, guide them. We can also provide camping equipment for a small fee. We live on the property. Surrounded by trees, a creek, a river with good fly trout fishing, forests, discreet neighbours and lots of wildlife to be spotted. No public transport to our place. No mobile reception. Somewhat steep, narrow staircase to upper level.
